My Opinion of IIT, Indoor

Overall Rating
I am a B.Tech student at IIT Indore. IIT Indore is ranked 9th among all the IITs. Its infrastructure is the point where it beats many IITS. Overall experience is good since this has greenery everywhere, shops, labs and food chains are at walking distance.
 

Academics Rating
The courses in IIT Indore are designed such a way that it involves the overall development of the student regarding his/her branch. To get admission in IIT Indore, you must qualify the JEE Advance exam (for B.Tech) which requires a lot of hard work.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of faculty members here are very helpful. All the Teaching Assistants are also awesome. The style of teaching depends on the teacher. Most importantly, you will also have to pay attention in the class.
 

Placement Rating
The placements here are awesome. This was my main motive for enrolling in this institute.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel here in IIT Indore are awesome. There are badminton courts, Table Tennis tables, foosball, and carom available in each hostel. Hot water facilities are available in the hostel. I live in double occupancy. We got table, chair, almirah and a bed in the room. Washrooms need to be shared with 6 to 8 people. We are not allowed to move out of our respective hostels after 10 PM. Facilities like Wi-Fi and washing machine are also available in the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IIT Indore's infrastructure is one of the best among all the other 23 IIT's. The POD buildings here are designed on a wonderful futuristic way. There is greenery everywhere. Moreover, LRC aka Learning Resource Center is IIT Indore's Library which contains all academic, fictional, spiritual books. ‘Swadhyay’, a self study centre is also available near the library which is open 24x7.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life here is beautiful. All the festivals are celebrated here with full high spirit and joy. Seniors are awesome and respectful to juniors. They help us in every possible way. There are many clubs in IIT Indore like acting club (Aaina), sports club (basketball, cricket, badminton, TT, etc.), programming club, etc. There are also fests like sports fest (GC, Inter IIT, Aquatics, etc.), E-summit, etc. Overall campus life is great.

    IIT Indore is one of the best institutions of India. It is well known for its beautiful and futuristic infrastructure. Apart from infrastructure, academics of the institute are also best. The institute follows the curriculum of IIT Bombay as it is mentored by IIT Bombay. According to my rank, I was getting core branches in 2nd generation IITs, so I decided to choose IIT Indore because of its campus life and placements.   • IIT Indore – An amazing institute for research

    IIT Indore has a beautiful campus and phenomenal infrastructure. It is of 500+acres with all greenery here and 200 acres of forest. We have 5 hostels which are not less than 5 star hotels. The institute has amazing and helpful faculties and they all are supportive. Seniors are pretty friendly here.... Read Full Review

  • My experiences and college life at IIT Indore

    It's although my first visit but it’s actually beyond my expectations. I couldn't believe such a college and a vibrant life. Here the most wonderful site is its infrastructure and academics. It also has such a campus that out of daily hustle you can breathe your soul in the lap of nature. Its beauty, the professors, staff members, and security members all are very helpful.     I am passionate about learning and innovation. Institute has different facilities like Library, modern classroom with AC and well-equipped laboratories. IIT Indore has a big auditorium as well.     Overall, considering academics, faculty, infrastructure, accommodation, social life, and placements, IIT Indore is one of the best choices. As for now I completed my B.Tech 1st year in IIT Indore, and I am very happy about the infrastructure and lectures. Choosing between other branches of IIT than CSE in IIT Indore is not that useful.
