An Honest Review of MNIT Jaipur

Overall Rating
I think MNIT Jaipur is a good choice for North Indian students. I chose MNIT Jaipur because it is one of India's top NITs according to NIRF ranking and is also well built. It is situated such a prime location of Jaipur city. There are many clubs and societies for extra curriculum activities like music, drama, dance, art, etc.
 

Academics Rating
In first year all branches syllabus are mostly same and classes are scheduled batch wise not branch wise. To get admission, you have to clear JEE Mains examination and then you have to participate in JoSAA counseling then you can get MNIT Jaipur. If you want to join MNIT, you can choose metallurgical branch.
 

Faculty Rating
There are many faculties with high qualifications. Some faculties are also working in their research projects. Each faculty generally takes 2-3 classes in a week. Their teaching style is said to be good but can be improved by improving the language and communication skills.
 

Placement Rating
There are many cells in the institute to help the students to have bright future such as training and placement cell, entrepreneur and development cell, etc. These cells help students to get internship and placement. During the time of placement, cells start inviting companies, alumni, etc for placement through their network.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are total 15 hostels in campus that can accommodate around 5000 students. These hostels have good infrastructure, though it can be said that, it is old. It provides good quality food and other facilities like Wi-Fi, geyser, water cooler and a common room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MNIT Jaipur campus spread over 317 acres. Infrastructure is very nice and beautiful. There is a building name VLTC (Vivekanand Lecture Theatre Complex) which is largest lecture theatre in Asia. There are central library and sports grounds for both indoor and outdoor games. There are 2 banks inside the campus; SBI and ICICI along with post office and few other shops.
 

Campus Rating
I think campus life is very good. There is anti ragging environment and lush green campus. There are two fests; Sphinx (technical fest) and Blitslag (cultural fest). There are around 15-20 clubs and societies for extra curriculum activities.

    You need to give JEE mains paper to get Bachelor of Architecture at MNIT Jaipur. Overall experience of college is very good. It is in great city with great campus of 317 acres. There are all facilities available in campus that a student may require. It is not situated out of the city rather it is in the heart of the city in Malaviya Nagar.     My experience of my institute is very good. I choose this institute because I belong from north India, so I wanted an institute where environment is like our environment.     This institute is situated in one of the prime location of Jaipur. Connectivity is also very good. The improvements by the institute are very good. Campus is quite excellent.
