Overall Rating
The overall experience is average. If you are able to manage certain things, you can have best experiences in this institute. I chose this institute because of its location and the branch combination I got this institute according to my JEE rank. The institute provides enough opportunities to explore and helps you to be aware of your potential.
 

Academics Rating
Many courses are available in the institute such as B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Tech + M.Tech integrated course, Ph.D, etc. For B.Tech, you need to appear and secure good rank in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). On the basis of this ranking, you will be allotted the branch in JoSAA counseling.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are best here. They are always ready to help any student as much as they can. All the professors are highly qualified. They teach well in the class. Some of them teach on white board while some teach through PDFs. They also provide notes which are highly helpful in the exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, There is a Training and Placement cell in the institute which helps the students in getting internships and placements. In this session, around 85% of the total students got placed in various companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel infrastructure is good. Double and triple occupancy rooms are provided to students with basic amenities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Institute infrastructure is average in the old campus. But the new campus has been constructed with good infrastructure and separate buildings for each department. Library contains more than two lakh books and labs are fully equipped with all the instruments and all apparatus. All the buildings are air conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
The campus size is compact so area is crowded. More than 25 clubs are present which includes technical as well as cultural clubs are also included. Events are conducted throughout the year which includes annual fest named ‘Corona’ and ‘Melange’, the technical & cultural fest and one inter departmental fest named ‘Eccentrica’.

    Just like most of the students, I also love my institute. In NIT Patna, you get the promised cultural mix and get to meet people from all over the country. The infrastructure is good and up-to-date. Faculty and curriculum is good.     The overall college is good, but the campus is little, small, it is about 40 acres. But no worries in the campus we have a playground, indoor games like badminton, table tennis, squash. Even in the campus we have the Gym, which are separate fir boys and girls. Our Campus is located near the bank of River Ganga, so every Sunday we can go and the watch the Ganga Aarti....     NIT Patna offers B.Tech 4 years and integrated B.Tech + M.Tech 5 years program in different branches. The admission to institute can be secured through JEE Mains examination. The faculties here are very well qualified with much of research and teaching experience. The curriculum is also updated and is according to the National Education Policy in which you can exit the program with a certificate in any of the years.
