My life at NIT, Patna

Overall Rating
My experience is quite good. I took admission in Electrical Engineering department in 2022. I was not happy with the campus as the old campus was very small. But now the new Bihta campus is quite big and beautiful. Let’s talk about faculty of my department. All professors are quite good. They are always ready to help the students in every situation.
 

Academics Rating
For taking admission in EE department. You should score 28k in JEE Mains and if you are from Bihar you will get some home state reservation. My motive to join this program was to do research on electrical vehicles as my hobby is to learn new concepts and theories.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good. Special mention to Mandal Sir, our HOD who support us in every situation and Mala Ma’am who made our syllabus very easy to learn.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institute provides placements opportunities. The placement rate for this year is about 80-85%.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are quite good. We got a double sharing room with two beds, two almirah, two study tables and a balcony facing Ganga river.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As mentioned earlier, our new campus building is good and beautiful, and it is away from town so there is no issue of traffic.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Just make new friends and explore all the new things in first year. From second year, try to balance your study and friendship.

    Just like most of the students, I also love my institute. In NIT Patna, you get the promised cultural mix and get to meet people from all over the country. The infrastructure is good and up-to-date. Faculty and curriculum is good.     The overall college is good, but the campus is little, small, it is about 40 acres. But no worries in the campus we have a playground, indoor games like badminton, table tennis, squash. Even in the campus we have the Gym, which are separate fir boys and girls. Our Campus is located near the bank of River Ganga, so every Sunday we can go and the watch the Ganga Aarti....   • NIT Patna campus placement is very good

    NIT Patna offers B.Tech 4 years and integrated B.Tech + M.Tech 5 years program in different branches. The admission to institute can be secured through JEE Mains examination. The faculties here are very well qualified with much of research and teaching experience. The curriculum is also updated and is according to the National Education Policy in which you can exit the program with a certificate in any of the years.
