BITS Pilani has an excellent reputation not only in India but also abroad. Ever since I started preparing for JEE Mains, I wanted to get into BITS Pilani. It has an extensive alumni network. The institute helps you get prepared with lot more than just academics. The education provided is top-notch. It also offers a freedom to choose what you want to pursue in life.

Entry into the institute requires one to clear the BITSAT examination. One should also have 12th board exam percentage of over 75% to get admission in any of the four campus for their Bachelors Degree. Board toppers of their respective boards get direct admission to their choice of branch and campus under BITS Pilani. It is important to pay attention to the branch you select because that is what you will have to study for the rest of your time at BITS.

BITS Pilani has excellent professors who are always very helpful. Every professor has individual researches going on and they have varied projects to offer to students. Some professors even let you choose which subtopic you are interested in the project so that it aligns with your future aspirations. Classes are rarely cancelled or rescheduled.

There is a placement unit at the campus which brings many companies for placements. The placement cell is very helpful and always supports the students when required. BITS Pilani has excellent placement record to boast about.

There are hostels for students on campus. It is compulsory for each and every student to stay in the hostel on campus. The concept of day- scholars doesn't exist at BITS. Hostels are clean and well maintained with vending machines for late night snacks. First and second year students are required to stay in double occupancy after which single occupancy rooms are allotted. Overall hostel life majorly depends on the people you have around and make memories with.

Campus has a beautiful academic block. It is separated into the new academic block and the old academic block. As the name suggests the new academic block has a fairly new look to it but the old one has its own charm as well. The main attraction of BITS Hyderabad is its extensive and beautifully built library. One will find any book they want. It is also open till 4 AM during exams.

Campus life is excellent with all the amenities one might need. There are food outlets with few open till 4 AM in the morning. There are grounds and courts for all the sports in the campus and one can play whenever they want to. There are three major fests: ‘Atmos’ (technical), ‘Pearl’ (cultural) and ‘Arena’ (sports). Campus is always very lively, one can never feel bored. There is a supermarket, multiple laundry shops food outlets and a restaurant inside the campus.
