My outlook on Shiv Nadar University

Overall Rating
The university is good as they have a really flexible curriculum. You will have freedom of what you want to study and it’s related to the real life world. I personally chose this university over other universities because of this reason only.
 

Academics Rating
My course is BMS (Bachelors of Management Studies). I took it because I love Management and Businesses. Another reason for choosing this course was the flexible curriculum. We can take electives and minor of our choice. You need to have minimum 75% in Class 12th grade to qualify for their entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is really great and knowledgeable. They have keen knowledge of their courses. The entire faculty has graduated from top universities of India and abroad. Everyone has their own unique teaching style. They are always ready to help the students and clear the doubts any number of time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have a placement cell called CDC (Career Development Centre). It conducts different workshops and calls industrial experts from top companies for different talks. They provide counseling and CV mentoring classes as well. They bring in companies for placements and internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our university has a residential campus. We have hostels for both boys and girls. There are pantry rooms in each hostel which have basic amenities like microwave, toasters, etc. The hostels are in general good condition.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block are first class and fully air conditioned. They have proper benches and lighting. There are separate research blocks and a sports complex which has badminton courts, gym, etc. Other amenities like salon, grocery store, food court and all are also there. Basically it provides almost everything you need in the campus itself.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd and the campus life are really good. We have so many clubs that everyone would find something or another of their interest. The fests are also really good with good DJ nights and concerts. TED talks and all keep happening throughout the year. Many pre-marketing management of the fests call for different food outlets to the campus. So in short you will have a lot of fun.

    I chose Shiv Nadar University because of its heavy emphasis on overall academics. It allows us to take minors and explore variety of subjects that interest us. It has state of the art infrastructure and facilities which attracted me the most. It has a huge campus spanning 200 plus acres.   • Shiv Nadar University Greater Noida campus is totally residential

    My father first recommended this college to me as I had not scored very well in JEE but got 90.89%. I met all the cutoff requirements for this college and I have heard about this college from my friends as well so I decided to get admission in this college. It has a wonderful environment as it has a bio-diversity, lush green nature, multiple facilities.
