My Journey at AKGEC, Ghaziabad

Overall Rating
My overall experience is good but I think I understand that you have to study very hard and also work on your skill such as Coding, Web development, etc. Skills and academics, both should be good to have a good placement. This college has a very decent placement services with average package than other private colleges.
 

Academics Rating
The course duration is 4 years where each year is divided in two semesters. The entry requirement for this college is that you have to qualify UPSEE exam, a state level entrance exam conducted by AKTU.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is well educated. Some of the faculties are old and some are young. So they offer you a better quality of education and experience. Faculty teaches on the smart boards, both theoretically and practically. They guide and help you in Web Development, Web Design, etc. to develop your skill set.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has a placement cell. From 6th semester, placement of the students’ start to take place in which you have to qualify the exams and then go for interview conducted by the company recruiters came for the placement. Most of the students get their placement by the help of placement cell. But you have to spend time in learning and follow the guidance.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are modernized with 24 hour Wi-Fi and attached mess. At night the hostels looks so beautiful, especially during Diwali and other festivals. The hostel rooms are in double and triple sharing based on the fee difference. Some students also rent a flat outside the college. The hostels are also ragging free.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is well developed. The college is situated near the main highway. It has very beautiful trees and plants that look attractive. Each block has AC, 24 hour electricity and RO drinking water. There is no café inside the campus. There is a canteen inside but the canteen is very costly for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus life is so good. The college organizes the Freshers and Farewell Party for the students. Other engagement activities like workshop and seminars are held randomly. All the festivals are celebrated by the students. New year is celebrated by the students during 31st December night.

    Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is currently No.3 college in UP with grading of NAAC++ (only college in UP with this gradation). Here, the faculty are very polite and teach us at his /her best level. Regular test and guidance are also provided from them.     This college has a biggest campus in all the Delhi NCR colleges and has a pretty descent faculty which is very supportive and well-educated. It has lot of greenery and tees which provide you fresh air in the city like Ghaziabad.     AKGEC is affiliated with AKTU University so the syllabus of the B.Tech course here is not tough. It has the biggest campus of about 40 acres and the greenery here is outstanding.... Read Full Review

    Hey so I will start from the beginning. I am a fresher at this college. Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is among top 5 colleges in Uttar Pradesh. I got admission through AKTU counseling that is conducted on the basis of JEE rank. I opted for ECE branch since I have a deep interest in this field. You can choose any of the courses here.     Overall Rating
    This college provides the best coding culture by envisioning its students with their vibrant computer science clubs. The results of hackathon participation and outcomes are also great. All the faculties are helpful and experienced. College life wise, it is a bit moderate as you'll have no time to spare as there will be sessionals and university exams throughout the semester.
