An overall review on AMC Engineering College

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the institute was too good. The college is surrounded by greenery and trees everywhere. The faculty being very helpful and I wanted to opt for this course and that made me to choose this college. My overall experience at the institute was super good.
 

Academics Rating
The selection is based on the COMEDK and KCET entrance exam. The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Computer Science. We can also join college through management and it would costs around 2-3 lakh.
 

Faculty Rating
We have multiple departments for different specializations with skilled faculty in every department. The faculty members are very approachable and friendly. They will help you with both your academic problems as well as personal problems. They are skilled in their fields and impart their knowledge to us in class. Our curriculum is relevant to the industry and helps us to keep up with the industry standards and requirements. My time at AMC College has been fulfilling.
 

Placement Rating
Placements: I am currently pursuing my degree in BE (CSE) from AMC Engineering College. The curriculum we follow is set by VTU in accordance with NEP 2021. Our syllabus is relevant to our industry as well. Placement training happens in our final year, and placement drives happen after that. The average placement package provided by our college is 3-5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is good enough with all facilities with food being tolerable and I would rate the hostel 5/10.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is very serene and beautiful. The classrooms are spacious with multiple labs in the building. We also have a library where you can borrow books as well as read and study in the library. We have multiple departments for different specializations with skilled faculty in every department. The buildings are different for PU students, degree students and engineering students.
 

Campus Rating
Our annual cultural fest, "Colosseum," "mélange" features ethnic celebrations and student performances. Active clubs like GLUG, IEEE host technical events and hackathons and Skill Development. They also host state level Sports championship in every type of indoor and outdoor games including chess and other outdoor Sports. The faculty is very supportive either it be supporting for academics or Sports or be it fests management.

You can easily go to the college because it's a very famous college in the city and it is connected to the town area road.   • AMC Engineering college hardly have any extracurricular activities
     

    Overall Rating
    As a computer science student, I could learn a lot of things at the college. Some of the things that include are programming language, operating system, discreet mathematics, software architect, and quantum computation. I also learned on able to work on various platforms be it MAC, Linux, Unix, or Windows. I also solved many real-time problems by writing KLOCs of code.   • AMC Engineering College has a great infrastructure

    I passed from AMC Engineering College in 2012 and things might have changed since then. The college was welcoming and so we many monkeys that one can find inside the campus. The college is close to Bannerghatta National Park and that was primarily the reason why there were so many monkeys who used to jump college walls and enter the college premises.
