Overall Rating
IIIT Guwahati offers a good academic environment with a strong focus on IT. The institute provides good and highly experienced professors and curriculum aligned with industry standards. I choose IIIT Guwahati because of pervious year placement offers. Students benefit from excellent guidance in academic as well as extracurricular activities. IIIT Guwahati is an ideal choice for seeking quality education and career growth.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides various Under Graduation, Post Graduation, and Ph.D Programs. If you need to enroll in this college you have to write the JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Mains. The college offers Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in Under Graduation (UG) and Post Graduation (PG). If you need to enroll in this college you have to meet the college cut off rank. The academic curriculum is good here.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of IIIT Guwahati includes highly qualified professors and all of them are Ph.D holders from reputed institutes like IIT's and Universities from different countries. The course curriculum is relevant because it is regularly updated with the latest technologies and makes students ready for industries. The faculty at IIIT Guwahati actively guide and mentor students in various competitive events in both within the institute and external events.
 

Placement Rating

Hostel Rating
The Hostel is good. There will be caretakers. They will help and resolve all the issues immediately. They always keep the hostel clean and hygienic. There is a canteen in the hostel that remains open 24x7. The mess food is okay but it does not taste so good. But it will be difficult for those who are habitual of eating spicy food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic and hostel infrastructure is good. The academic building has central AC and there will be separate offices for everything. There will be separate room for every faculty. It is a new campus and some elements are still under construction. Overall infrastructure is good currently.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good and you will feel happy when you have good friends. The sunset and sunrise will look very amazing from the hostel. The campus has wide roads where students can walk peacefully.

    Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati is an institute of national importance. The computer science and engineering branch is considered to be a good option among others. Once you come to the institute, you will not regret any more. You will automatically engage in it. Faculties are just amazing. There are many coding competitions and extracurricular activities.     IIITG is an institute, which is in its developing stage, and at this point I think, has a lot of scope to improve. First things first and what the priority should be faculty.
