My Experience at Surendranath College

Overall Rating
Overall the campus was very good. It provides many courses for Undergraduate and Post Graduate students along with many other additional courses. You can pursue Advance Diploma here as it is best for students who want to do B.Com or M.Com in future. The college also provides Law study and best laboratory for Science students where every type of experiments can be performed.
 

Academics Rating
The Admission process has now become easy. You should register yourself in the official website of college. Once you register yourself and enroll your name, you need to submit your mark sheet of your 12th standard. The selection process for students is based on the merits list published by the college authority. If your name is in the list, it means you are selected. I am pursuing B.Com from this college.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are very supportive and helpful they help you on all time. All the professors are Ph.D degree holders. They are brilliant as they also provide you some job training by itself. They help me a lot in every type of problem.
 

Placement Rating
There is no Placement Cell in this college. Perhaps you can contact the professors of your department for the placement related information.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel facility provided by the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is very big. College facilitates students with every type of laboratory, library, games room, student cultural center and many more. The environment of the college is quite good and quite near from the Sealdah station 10-15min.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus was very good. Despite being busy with academics, we get to enjoy every function in the college. Our college hosts cultural program in which it invites celebrities like Jubin Nautiyal and Sunidhi Chauhan. It also organizes Fresher’s Party and Farewell Function.

    This is one of the nearest colleges from Sealdah station so it does not take much time for traveling. My father passed out from this college and he is a government officer so, I inspired by him.     Surendranath College holds prestige as one of the oldest colleges under the banner of Calcutta University situated in the heart of the city, giving the convenience of all kinds of transportations be it bus, metro, or train.
