As a first year student, it has been an exhilarating experience so far. The daily walks here seem like short and peaceful treks that provide a sense of calmness all over. The faculty is impeccable and covers each topic for each session in a holistic manner, which further enables us to go and further study well in the library There is no ragging culture either which makes for a safe and comfortable environment for the students.

BA. LLB is a five year integrated program that equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge required for them to practice in any of the sectors related to law. I have also been informed by my seniors that even though it gets more complex in the later years, it is fairly easy for students to cope with this change due to the strong academic foundations provided by HPNLU.

All of the faculty members are adept at their craft, each having a distinct style of teaching. This is particularly helpful because they provide valuable insights from different perspectives on a lot of interrelated aspects of the Law and Arts. Most of them hold a Doctorate in Law degree from reputed universities in India, though I have noticed that several of them are from Delhi University and are thus very experienced and are able to think critically about several issues of this country.

Yes! There is a very active Placement Assistance Cell in the University that act as guide for the students, helping them in securing not only top-tier internships, but also placing them in some of the best firms of the country. What is more impressive is that there have only been 3 batches that have passed out so far and yet they have managed to get themselves placed in top-tier firms like the Big Seven, or have gone on to be Administrative Services Officers, or have cracked the Judiciary exams. However, there is no guarantee of placements and it is totally dependent on the student's performance, but they do give an assurance of adequate opportunities

The University has few off-campus hostel facilities that are within walking distance of the university. All of the hostels provide at least the basic facilities required, and anything beyond is to be brought by students themselves (which is not an issue thanks to the abundance of convenience stores nearby). However, they do have reasonable rules and restrictions that a normal student can be expected to follow, and even otherwise they just prefer to be informed and don't necessarily restrict a student.

The sprawling campus is filled with greenery, having a temple nearby, two dedicated cafes, a decent area for sports, university gyms, and a branch of the State Bank of India. It also has a good library and a vast E-library that can be accessed from anywhere. They have a great conference hall, large classrooms that can accommodate up to 60-70 Students and bigger halls that can accommodate up to 150 Students for combined classes

They have several Committees, Clubs and Centers that provide several opportunities for the students to showcase and hone their skills. They have regular activities like plantation drives and interactions with NGOs, Jurists, eminent person that enable students to gain critical insight from those in various fields both in and out of law.
