All about DCAST, Dehradun

Overall Rating
I have completed my graduation from this college and the college is good. The semester fee is very affordable. It's one of the renowned colleges in Dehradun. The university is give less marks but maximum students pass easily.
 

Academics Rating
You can easily get in this college with 60% marks in 10+2, in our B.Sc Agriculture course. The semester fees is 30000 per semester, Hostel fees is 6500 per month, Laundry fee 4000 per year and exam fee 1600 per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
In Doon PG College, the faculty members are quite good but there are so less teachers present right now. The students are approximately 3000, but there are maximum15-17 teachers in the college.
 

Placement Rating
In Doon PG College, the placement is not up to the mark. Only 1-2 companies come in the college with low package (not every year). Students are preparing for other job and higher studies from government bodies.
 

Hostel Rating
The Doon PG College hostel is quite good. The food quality of the hostel is not as expected. But the laundry facilities are available along with 24X7 electricity availability.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College campus is good but there is a problem that the infrastructure is very less as compared to other colleges. The lift facilities are quite impressive. College authorities are now conscious about the development of infrastructure and other facilities.
 

Campus Rating
College campus is good. There are many large spaces available for the student to refresh their minds between classes. The field and all the other facilities of the college are quite good. Generally, a college conducts 2 fest, one between March to April and other one between October to November.

    I choose this college because the course fees of the college is affordable for middle class students and also there is a very easy process of taking admission in the college. If you are unable to pay fees monthly then you can pay the fees before semester exam. The overall experience is good and my elder brother is passed out from this college and now he is an Agriculture Field Officer. So these are the reasons due to which I choose this college....     DCAST is a private college that was established in the year 2000, affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various specializations. DCAST is popular for its Agriculture course. So, the B.Sc.
