My review on Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Professional Studies

Overall Rating
This college is overall an average college. It is affiliated to GGSIP University. It comes in 4-5th position in all GGSIPU affiliated colleges and institute’s infrastructure is also good. Placements are average but faculty is good.
 

Academics Rating
The institute follows same curriculum as its affiliating university. The admissions are done by GSSIPU counseling on the basis of JEE Mains score. There are three online and one offline spot round for admission along with the management quota and category reserved seats. They need to update the teaching facilities by bringing modern teaching aids and technology.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is pretty nice. They will support you and guide if you behave decently with them. Most of them hold masters degree (70% of faculty) and few of them are Ph.D degree holders too. They are bit strict in first and second year but become very supportive in last two years.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are very decent for software branches such as CSE, IT and ECE but average for core branches like Civil and Mechanical. Average package is of 4 LPA and maximum package on campus is around 20 LPA. Many students have also managed to grab the packages of above 30 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel and mess facility available here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is one the best thing about this college. There are 5 blocks, each for different course. Library is pretty average. The college also has digital library where you can browse internet. Water coolers are also available there. There are two canteens in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The college life is decent and pretty chill. There are many clubs and societies in the college such as dance, singing, poetry, entrepreneurship and coding.

    It is a decent institute overall, it is situated in Shastri park, nearest metro station being Kashmiri Gate and Shastri park. It has great sports facilities like basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, football ground and a big ground other than these.     Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta former known as Northern Engineering Institute Of Technology is an average college affiliated with IPU. You can’t compare it with IIT but it is okay. You can proceed further towards your aim journey. This college is average and you can achieve being placed at a good place from this college. There is enough guidance here.... Read Full Review

    Excellent infrastructure with good faculty co-coordinators. The institute is academically good as well and the labs are well-maintained. The connectivity is from Kashmere Gate metro station.
