My opinion about Dr. Dy Patil BioTechnology and Bioinformatics Institute

Overall Rating
As per me Dr. Dy Patil Institute is the best institute as I know. The environment is every happy and friendly. The enthusiasm of student and faculty is beyond next level. The way faculty provides an environment for student is best. They do help every single student in every aspect. The non teaching staff also support and help as they can. And the dean Miss. Nawani ma’am is also available to help the students in her free time.
 

Academics Rating
I do choose B.Tech in Biotechnology course which I think is best course. The eligibility criteria for this course are +2 and the college also conducts an entrance exam which is technically based on the 10-12 syllabuses. These are the only criteria for selection.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is the best. They solve every single query and they sometimes also take extra lectures for all the students as per students need. And they do always support student’s wellbeing. And also they encourage us to enroll in other activities rather than studies. The teaching and non teaching staff both creates a great environment for students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell department at institute and we do have placement cell co-coordinators which are student from 3-4 year.
 

Hostel Rating
The dean ma'am took a great step and she personally kept an eye on the hostel facilities and arrangements. Some teachers are also there to take care of the students in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus infrastructure is great. We do have online and offline both libraries available at our campus. The building is cool and comfortable, and classes do have proper electrical supply and wifi facilities. Every student is allowed to take every single advantage of the things which are provided in campus. All the labs are high tech labs and they have good battery backup system.
 

Campus Rating
The campus held many events which are all conducted by student co-coordinators with the help of faculty. The main feast of DPU is known as Cytosole which is of 3 days. Firstly there is a Cultural Day which does have various themes and then Prom Day which again have themes and last is Cytosole. Before Cytosole there are competition which includes sports and extracurricular activities in which faculty push us to get enrolled.

    My overall experience has been fantastic as a science student. The labs are well equipped and have updated machines with advanced technology. The crowd coming to this college is excellent and the professors are highly qualified. Pune weather makes it more scenic and beautiful hence making the campus life memorable for students....
