My experience at KR Mangalam University

Overall Rating
My overall experience at KRMU is satisfying till now. I have learnt lot of robust skills and ideas along with great methods to deal with problems. I have opted KRMU because it provides specialization in its courses. Others might also get benefit if they choose KRMU as a future option.
 

Academics Rating
The BCA (AI & DS) is a 3 year course, with 6 semesters. The entry requirements are simple and easy. The candidates must have scored minimum 60% in 12th standard from any recognized board with Math and Computer Science as mandatory subjects. You'll learn lot of information about Computers, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and DS (Data Science) along with structure of Machines as well.
 

Faculty Rating
There are specialized faculty members for all the departments. In SOET (School of Engineering & Technology), we have well trained faculty members. All teachers are different for each subject and they teach well. There are other faculties from well known prestigious universities as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in our institute and it really helps students to get placed in their field of interest. It facilitates internship and necessary training for placements for each student.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes the hostel is at 5 minutes walking distance from main campus, The hostel is well equipped with gym and sports facilities and provides 3 time meals service to the residents. There are double sharing rooms with well lighting and Wi-Fi availability.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The KRMU campus is vast and big with secure methods to enter and leave. The central library is well distributed with all sections and courses mentioned along with a wide range of books which are needed by the student.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is amazing and enjoyable. The exams are conducted timely with an adequate level of difficulty. The sport clubs, music clubs, dance clubs, acting clubs and fashion clubs are well maintained in the campus. There are many fests and events that happen every year. It also organizes inter university events as well.

    I chose to pursue Bachelor of Computer Applications with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science because of the demand of professionals in AI and DS is increasing rapidly.     Personally, I didn't think I would like the university much at the starting mostly because I got my admission late and I am bad at making friends but people in university are actually kind and nice (not all of them obviously). Now, I really like the campus and my small circle of friends. Even if you live far there are bus facilities available.... Read Full Review
