My chemical engineering experience at NIT Raipur

Overall Rating
The college is situated at the centre of the city and have a good placement percentage apart from that the coding environment and faculties are good as well. We didn't have any GD or interview for this. The people of the college are very friendly and will treat you good.
 

Academics Rating
Courses curriculum are well-designed so that anyone who's studying here won't face any type of challenges in real life. The labs are well maintained with new equipments.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are really helpful. We have our own faculty advisor who will help and guide us with everything and anything. For every 20 students we have 1 faculty advisor. If you have any kind of problem regarding academics or personal they are always ready to help you out in any situation.
 

Placement Rating
Placement percentage of college last year was 75% and it is pretty good after having more than 10 different engineering branches. Along with these there are companies offering very good salary around and the average package of college was 9-10 LPA last year.
 

Hostel Rating
I wasn't in hostel but college provide hostel to some students. There are 4 hostels for 1st year and a single hostel for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students. There is mess available for students, although the food is average and can be eaten. I live in a PG near college and there are a lot of PGs and hostels available near the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the college is pretty average. The building is very old and all the departments are situated in one building only. College provides limited seats for hostel and the ground is not even maintained properly. We have a 3 café and 1 canteen in our campus. Roads are in good condition and bikes are allowed in our campus.
 

Campus Rating
Life at campus is pretty cheering although we have some language barriers between some South Indian and North Indian students, but still everything's pretty peaceful. During the months of December and January we have a lot of fests such as Samar Sports Fest, Eclectika Central India Largest Fest, Aavartan a science exhibition, and many more. Alongside we have many clubs and committees such as shaurya, technocracy, sanskriti, etc.

    If I talk about the overall experience, it is too good. Talking about college life, you will have good friends with whom you will spend time and chill out.     My college name is NIT Raipur. I am a Biotechnology student. I search a college which has good research and best program centre. NIT Raipur has biggest cultural fest at middle India. Inter NIT sport event also held between all NITs. Where you can perform and score a medal for you and college. It also has good facilities. But it is small college around 100 acres.   • Great College but Lacks Infrastructural

    The college is located in the heart of the capital of Chhattisgarh and provides great resources for the development of their students. The college provides a great overall experience for the student. This institution was allocated to me in the JOSAA counseling. It felt like a good choice due to its vast alumni network and good placement statistics. I recommend going for this college as it will provide a great developmental arc for its students....     Overall Rating
    I took admission in 2023 in the Electrical Engineering branch of NIT Raipur. Since, then I haven't regretted my decision of choosing this college and coming here. I am able to excel in studies due to the responsible and sincere faculty of our branch and at the same time I have been exposed to sports too and now I manage each and everything well here. Our college has life clubs and committees to gain knowledge, learn, grow and explore which is the main cause of my personality development.... Read Full Review

  • Review of my college NITRR ( National Institute of Technology , Raipur)
     

    Overall Rating
    Basically to get this college, one has to clear JEE MAINS exam with a good rank. Then after qualifying the exam, there are many counseling rounds through which you are allotted a seat in the college. I chose this college as it is a government college and many product based company come here for placements and the average package of the college is also very good like around 15 lakh per year.
