The institute delivers what it stands for

Overall Rating
Indian Institute of Mass Communication is indeed the best institute for Journalism with all the basic amenities. This institute provides you everything. This institute directly comes under the Broadcasting Ministry. It has five regional branches namely in Aizawl, Dhenkanal, Amravati, Jammu and Kottayam with equally good faculty and infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
In order to get admission in this institute, one must firstly appear for the CUET written exam. Secondly, you have to participate in the Group Discussion round and finally after the personal interview round you will get admission in this institute. The admission criteria in this institute will test how good you can work for your dream to come true.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers here are well educated and have all the knowledge. The teachers here have field experience of the subject they are teaching with the technical knowledge. Teachers are skilled too. Teachers not only teach but also share their on-ground experiences and life stories to motivate students. They are not only teachers but life coaches and career counselors too.
 

Placement Rating
Placements as we see were not so good in this year and many students remained unplaced. IIMC need to pay more attention on the placement unit of the institute and should think more about the career of the students who enrolled in the institute.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel of the institute is very nice and clean. But, to get a hostel in this institute you have to apply as soon as you get your seat confirmed. Yet there will be chances that you won't get a room for yourself. The environment of the hostel in very joyous and also the mess and canteen provides you with variety of food items all fresh and nice.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of IIMC is to be taken account for. Situated near JNU, it is beautiful. Greenery accompanied by solemn makes it 10 times prettier. Also the shade of trees and greenery of grass which is very rare in Delhi will be seen in the campus. Due to greenery birds of different types and colors can be easily spotted here.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life at IIMC is very engaging, you get to know people, organise events, and even collaborate with other departments. Competitions happen every now and then, which makes institute life more interesting. Workshops for different department teach children about the basic skills you need to have to make an impact in your career.
