Manipal Institute of Virology is a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. It is a well-known global centre for Virology research and education. It provides accompanying facilities, faculty, and research prospects that are all on an international level. The reasons behind my selection of this institute are the brilliant scholastic reputation the institute has earned along with the promising placement record together with a complete emphasis on functional learning.

The candidate can learn various aspects of Virology here. To pursue Masters in Clinical Virology, you must score at least 60% in Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or MBBS or BVSc, B.Sc MLT.

The faculties are friendly and easy to approach. In addition to that, a cordial environment is maintained across the Institute as well as University. The integration of current technology and software in the teaching activity improves the learning environment by stimulating it and are well executed by teachers. Students are benefited from this strong research culture by providing them research experience and engaging them in different research activities as guided by the Professors. They get exposure to different research facilities and other advancements in their field of specialization.

The Placement opportunities are growing and are in progress. The Institute guides and directs in various aspects in terms of opportunities and placement.

The hostels are well equipped and have all the basic facilities.

The campuses of Manipal Academy of Higher Education are well-equipped with laboratories, classroom, and other amenities. The campus has some of the features such as Wi-Fi connection, playground, and lively students’ activities. Here, at the institute, the quality of the things provided for student shows that the management is much concerned about quality.

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education provides opportunities of a very vivid student life. The campus is surrounded with green fields, library, grounds, and recreational areas. As for additional meetings after school the institute promotes participation in clubs and societies and offers many possibilities for it. Campus environment creates belongingness and meanwhile it offers general support outside the classroom, academically as well as personally.
