Prabhu Jagatbandhu College: Overall Review

Overall Rating
This college has affordable fees. This college is in the center of Howrah and that's why I come to this college by any transport, like: train, bus, auto, etc. My college experience is very good.
 

Academics Rating
This college has mainly two types of courses, one is Honors degree courses and another is General degree course. There are many faculties for subjects likes: English, Bengali, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Mathematics, Zoology, Nutrition, Political Science, Sociology, Education, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, etc. They provide admission for both bachelor degree and master degree courses. Master degree is available for courses like Mathematics, Geography and Bengali. The academic infrastructure is so much good.
 

Faculty Rating
The college's faculties are very good, well qualified and experienced. It has about 60+ teacher and 20+ non-teaching staffs. There are about 16 teaching and 4 non-teaching staffs in my course. The teaching and non-teaching members always help the students in their education and extra curriculums.
 

Placement Rating
This is a general degree courses college, so its placement facility is not so much good. But the college authority is always there to help the students with any type of external courses and any types of job.
 

Hostel Rating
It does not provide hostel facility.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This college infrastructure is so much good. It has mainly two blocks, one is old block and another is new block. It has about 25+ rooms, one big play ground for games like football and cricket, and separate bathrooms for each gender. The central library is so big with almost 10000+ plus books.
 

Campus Rating
The college has very big campus. The college is always very crowded. It also conducts fests in the middle of year. Other events that are celebrated here are Teachers’ Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, etc. Saraswati Puja takes place for three to four days and students decorate this college by making Rangoli, alpanas, etc.
