I had an average experience at this college. The reason why I chose this college was because of the placement record where 80% of students get placed. The majority of the entry is through WBJEE, JEE Mains, or by Management Quota.

The academic experience in this college is pretty decent. There, the curriculum provides all the necessary fundamentals. Close to 85% of the students directly come through WBJEE, 10% through JEE Mains and another 5% through the management quota which generally requires a donation of at least 7 lakh. Admissions are pretty competitive, thereby ensuring good student intake is kind of necessary. I came here with the aim of having a very firm foundation in engineering. The course could use some more practical applications and advanced topics to make it better for learning.

Faculty to student ratio I think is good that comes with no problem. Faculties are approachable to some extent. There are many good faculties. All the faculty members are helpful and will assist you in every way possible.

We had quite a decent placement season at our college in 2023. The highest package was up to 14 lakh, and an average was around 3.8 lakh. We are expecting continuation in it as we look forward to the complete data of 2024. My post-college plans are flexible. I'm thinking about entering the job market if the opportunities seem lucrative or continuing further studies through GATE to B.Tech, at the later stage. This dual approach will keep me open to all immediate career opportunities and long-term academic goals, grooming myself for the future.

The setting of the college is really impressive, with modern buildings and new amenities. In near future, the college should work on refurbishing its educational spaces to justify the learning experience offered to the students from the investment made by them.

We have fest in our college namely, ZEAL, the cultural fest which happens every year and is the biggest fest in our college. Apart from this, many other tech related fest (like horizon tech fest) and many different club related fests also take place. We have almost 20+ clubs in our college like dance, art, music, coding, recitation, etc. to develop student’s co-curriculum part. The college also arranges sports fests every year on sports day where different sports events are held and winners are awarded with price money.
