The university campus is very busy from Monday to Friday where you see students coming and going to classes and hostels. Day Scholars come from Monday to Friday and are not allowed to come on weekends unless they have class or any special event after getting permission from their respective authority.

There is a FFCS system where you have to select slots you prefer and faculty as well. A list would be provided to you accordingly. You have to select after asking from seniors as per their experience. There are 2 FFCS: one mock test and other final FFCS. There is an average system according to which you CGPA is decided which is also called grading system.

There are faculties which are supportive and help in research work as well. An attendance criterion varies from teacher to teacher. All the faculties will clear your doubts in a very humble way whenever you ask but at a specified timing in their cabin (from 8:30 to 4:30 pm). If faculties have classes till 7:30, then they stay for a longer duration of time in their cabin. All the faculty members have completed their Ph.D degree.

There are 2 Blocks for girls, block 1 and 2. Block 2 is under construction. Block 1 has facilities such as gym, badminton court and a garden. Badminton court opens at fixed timings. There is a housekeeping facility for the hostlers. Each washroom has a laundry room, washroom (both Indian and western) and a bathing area. Both the girl’s hostels have canteens that are open till 9 PM at night. You are allowed to leave from hostel from 6 AM to 6:30 PM. For boys, timings for outing are extended till 9:30 PM. Girls aren't allowed to go towards boy’s hostel unless there is a medical emergency and they have to visit block 1 boys doctor. In case of boys, they can walk in campus at any time and with a restriction of 9:40 or 10 PM at night. The mess timings are: Breakfast: 7:30 -9:30 AM in working days, 7:30 -10 AM on weekends. Lunch: 12:30 - 2:30 PM in working days, 12:30 -2:15 PM on weekends. Snacks: 5:00- 6:30 PM in working days, 5:00-6:00 PM on weekends. Dinner: 7:45 or 7:30 PM, vary according to hostellers.

There is an Academic block (AB), Lab Complex (LC), Architecture Building (Arch.), Multipurpose house (MPH), Open auditorium (besides bus stand), 2 blocks of girls hostel and 6 blocks for boys hostel. Reading room is open till 7:30 PM and Library till 7 PM from Monday to Friday & till 4:30 PM on Sunday.

There are several events organized by club on various occasions such as on new year and other cultural fests. At every 3-4 months there is sports competition where you can compete at university and international university level. E- Sports are also available where you can win a huge amount of prices.
