A review on JIT

Overall Rating
I chose this institute so that I can pursue my bachelors from home and this institute doesn’t require any entrance exam or interview to take admission. Generally, you have to go to institute to get admissions. Faculty present there helps in finishing the admission process right from registration at institute website to selection process.
 

Academics Rating
My course (Data Science) is newly added course in 2022 and my batch is 1st batch in this course. Overall students who have interest in technology can consider Data Science because it is a high paying field with a lot of job opportunities in the market but at the same time, this course requires lots of skill sets. Eligibility for this course is to pass 12th standard with PCM. If you have great interest in data like getting insights, making dashboards, etc. you have to definitely go in this field.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers’ behavior here is very friendly. They are good in nature. Almost all the faculty members have qualified their masters and Ph.D degree.
 

Placement Rating
I am in 2nd year and there are no internship and placement opportunities for the students till now. But departments like Computer Science which is ongoing in institute for many years has 5 to 10% of placement through institute or say on campus with package of 1.5 Lakh to 7-8 LPA. Top companies are TCS, Pie info.com, Tata, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
There are residential facilities for students, faculty and guests. I am not a hosteller but I have heard about hostel facilities from my friend. Hostel food is average in taste. Every room has 5 beds for 5 students. Hostel also provides sports facilities to the students to engage themselves after academic hours.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In my department, there are many laboratories for different subjects. Other facilities include Wi-Fi facility, computers and projector too. Library contains all books related to my course subjects. My institute has a canteen where basic food and snacks are available. There are total 6 buildings in an institute, hostel building (1 for boys and 2 for girls), guest building and a faculty quarter area. Gym facilities are also provided by the institute.
 

Campus Rating
Institute conducts a fest every year in the month of March with multiple events like sports, ramp walk, roadies’ quizzes, etc. This goes on for 6 to 7 days and ends it with a night function.
