My Journey at St Anthony's College

Overall Rating
My overall experience in St Anthony's College was very good and the best as I got to experience all kind of events and activities throughout my stay at the college. I chose this college as it is one of the best colleges in our state and has latest technology in it with experienced teachers. So I would suggest others to get enrolled in this college.
 

Academics Rating
Candidates must have secured at least 55% aggregate in their 12th standard in order to get enrolled in the college. The eligibility to get admission in B.Com is to have secured at least 60% aggregate in Accounts subject. The purpose for enrolling for B.Com in this college is that you get thorough knowledge about accounts and managing skills which will help the students for their further studies.
 

Faculty Rating
The Faculty members in B.Com department are well educated and have finished their masters from renowned institutions around the country. Their teaching style is exceptionally good as they not only teach you theoretically but also practically, providing students with complete overview of the subject.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have a placement cell in our college. At the end of 6th semester, we get placement benefits like internship in renowned companies like Amazon, Jio, Tata, Adani Groups, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Our hostels are well organized and maintained. The food provided in our hostel is freshly made every day. The infrastructure of our hostel is in a form of a building consisting of 4 floors. The sports facilities are also available for the sports like football, basketball and badminton.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of our college is best. Each department has a separate building like our B.Com and BBA have same building, B.Sc and Arts are in other building and a different building consist Mass Media Department. It has 3 canteens and a basketball court, a football ground, a botanical Garden, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in St Anthony's College is the best in Shillong as they provide us with various activities or events throughout the month. Every week they conduct some kind of departmental or class stalls where they sell food, cloths, and utensils of their culture. The crowd is in huge number during such events and activities. Various food fests are also conducted in our college. The other engagement activities like visiting village site and industrial visit too also happen throughout the year. So the campus life is the best in our college.
