B. Borooah College is one of the prestigious colleges in Guwahati with professional Faculty Members, Canteen, Lab, Sports and Games, Hostel Facility for boys and girls, etc. You can choose the college to study because this college is one of the best colleges in Guwahati with best faculty and infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
M.Sc course has 15 students per batch and admission fee is 50000 rupees per year. Its eligibility is bachelor degree in the concerned subject with good percentage. You have to secure good marks in Guwahati University PG Entrance Exam also. This course helps you to become faculty of Botany in future.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are really good, helpful, and friendly. They give you knowledge and notes for related topics. They teach with the help of digital screen through presentation on different topics. They are mostly PhD holders on the subject with good teaching experience.

Infrastructure Rating
Books are well maintained in the library. The college has beautiful academic buildings and auditorium hall for different occasions. Common rooms for boys and girls and a canteen are available. The college also has gym. There are 3 to 4 academic buildings. Chemistry lab is well equipped and research facilities are also available.

Campus is filled with greenery with big trees all around the college. Campus life is really good with lot of occasional celebrations like Saraswati Puja, Fresher’s Party, Farewell Party, etc. The College Week Celebration is conducted in which students can participate to show their different talents. Students can showcase their dancing, reciting, and singing talents in freshers of college. College fests are popular among students because of some really cool guests like singers of Assam came to college during fests.
