Mahayogi Gorakhnath University BAMS Review By Nitesh Pratap

The college is situated in the Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh. It is a good college with nice infrastructure. The reason behind why I chose this college is that it is the most affordable college in the Uttar Pradesh as it does not take any extra amount except the fees and examination fees no security money is taken.

The course BAMS eligibility is through qualifying NEET and participates in AYUSH counseling. The cutoff keeps increasing for this college as last year it was 430 and this year it is expected to be around 490. The course offers us study of Ayurveda which is Indian traditional medicine system.

The faculty of this college is very good the professors are well knowledgeable in their field. Majority of our faculty is of research scholars who teach very passionately and clear each doubts. They are well versed in practical knowledge and application of ayurveda.

As I am the part of first year to enter this course in this college. So there is no information available on placement cell.

I don't live in hostel but my batch mate do. The fees in ₹70000 per year including lodging and food. Food is good. Rooms are spacious with single and double seater options.

The infrastructure of the college is good with smart classroom equipped air conditioners. Library is large with books in Hindi and English as well as digital library is present. Hospital with all facilities and test is present. Panchkarma centre is also present.

The college is very boring and ordinary as it only focuses on studies. There is no focus on extracurricular activities. No sports facilities is available even there is no basic badminton court or any form of court. There are no fests or events.
