MITRC - Myth and Facts

Overall Rating
I have joined the college in 2022. On that time My fee is very affordable it is only 60000 Rupees a year for B.Tech CSE. Infrastructure of college is not too big but not too small also. Maintenance happens time to time. There are 70 students in my batch and seats in CSE are 120. Social life is good here; it is easy to make friends. But the worst thing here is Restrictions, you can’t even bunk a single lecture. If you have to go home you have to sign application from 3 different faculties. But this is only applicable for day scholar.
 

Academics Rating
There are no such minimum eligibility criteria to join the college. You have to just pass 12th or you should have a diploma then you can join the college. You first have to consult the HR then pay the fee. Academics is good but it can be better. There is library in the college which provides books to you. Fee of the library is included in the fee and it is compulsory.
 

Faculty Rating
The ratio of student and faculty is not so good here. There are only a bunch of faculties here. But behavior of some faculties is very good here; they are like your friends. But some faculties don’t have a good behavior. Some faculties have PhD here but some have only bachelor’s degree. So, there is a mix of bad and good faculties here. Some faculties also manage to teach more than 1 or 2 subjects.
 

Placement Rating
I don't know too much about placements in the college because I have just passed 4th semester and I am in 5th semester. But I have seen posters which say highest package in college is 10LPA and average package is 2.4LPA, 3.6LPA, and 4.8LPA. There are no such big companies which visit campus. Some are Tata, TCS, Wipro, etc. In my opinion placements are not good here.
 

Hostel Rating
Infrastructure of Hostel is very bad. There is no maintenance in the hostel. But social life in hostel is good. It is easy to make friends and connect with seniors as well as faculties who are in hostel. But Mess of MITRC is worst.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As I mentioned above Infrastructure is average in my college. There is no such big building. There are two building of college, a mess, a canteen, a library, and a girl’s hostel. They are not too big but not too small also.
 

Campus Rating
There are three events that take place in my college. First is Fresher’s party for 1st and 2nd year. Second is Fest for whole college and third is For 4th year end ceremony. For sports there is no such function or facility.
