My academic journey at NIT

Overall Rating
NIT Patna is the National institute of technology located in Patna Bihar India it is situated along the back of the Ganga river the campus features modern academy and administration building constructed in a mix of traditional and contemporary architecture style. Placement rate is pretty good here. Overall I'll say it's the people who lives around you make the difference not the place.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in NIT Patna college, you have to clear national-level exams such as JEE Mains, GATE, and IIT JAM for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech and M.Sc respectively. Eligibility criteria for B.Tech are passing 12th board with 75% and appeared in JEE Mains exam with good percentile. NIT Patna is known for its strong academic program especially in engineering discipline. Institute offers undergraduate, post graduate, and doctor program that are desired to provide student with a comprehensive education in their chosen field.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculty members are IIT qualified. And all are well experienced in their field and their way of teaching is quite good. The professors not only teach but also give practical examples. NIT Patna typically has a talented pole of faculty members who has expert in their respective field. These professors play a crucial role in imparting knowledge, guiding research project, and mentoring students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Placement Cell helps us a lot. It provides information like which company is visiting our campus, their expectations, and in which month they will come, so that we can get prepared for placements easily. Placement of NIT Patna is quite good in Mechanical Engineering as compared to other colleges. The average package in ME is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies of Mechanical Engineering visits in our college are "Alstom, Vedanta, L&T, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Hostel facilities are available in our college. From 1st year to 4th year. NIT Patna has well-equipped hostels for its students. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with modern amenities such as 24-hour water supply, uninterrupted power backup, and high-speed internet connectivity. Each hostel room is furnished with basic furniture like beds, study tables, and cupboards. The hostels also have common rooms, recreation areas, and mess facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The facilities include lecturer hall, laboratories, a central library, hostel, and recreational spaces like sports ground. The campus maintain green landscaping and is known for its picture setting along the river front Campus have access to services like a medical center, bank, and ATM on the campus. The administration maintains cleanliness and security in the hostel to ensure a comfortable living environment for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The best thing about NIT Patna is that it inspires me every single time to do something awesome. You complain about everything in the first year then you learn to live with it. You learn to make the best out of resource available to you. NIT Patna usually offers a vibrant campus life with various club societies and events that help student develop their extracurricular interest, leadership skills, and social networks.

    Just like most of the students, I also love my institute. In NIT Patna, you get the promised cultural mix and get to meet people from all over the country. The infrastructure is good and up-to-date. Faculty and curriculum is good.   • Pursue Excellence at NIT Patna

    The overall college is good, but the campus is little, small, it is about 40 acres. But no worries in the campus we have a playground, indoor games like badminton, table tennis, squash. Even in the campus we have the Gym, which are separate fir boys and girls. Our Campus is located near the bank of River Ganga, so every Sunday we can go and the watch the Ganga Aarti....     NIT Patna offers B.Tech 4 years and integrated B.Tech + M.Tech 5 years program in different branches. The admission to institute can be secured through JEE Mains examination. The faculties here are very well qualified with much of research and teaching experience. The curriculum is also updated and is according to the National Education Policy in which you can exit the program with a certificate in any of the years.
