Journey towards the heaven

Overall Rating
My experience at IIT Guwahati was very wonderful and I chose this institute because of its beauty and environment. I love this place very much and I also suggest other scholars to choose this institute. It is very attractive place for the people who love environment and want to spend their time with beauty of nature.
 

Academics Rating
I am a B.Tech student of Computer Science and Engineering branch. My motive to enroll in this program is that I love digital world and want to make people’s life easy and very comfortable by providing new software to the world. I also love coding ever since my childhood so I want to do that.
 

Faculty Rating
Here all faculties are very nice. Their teaching style is also very nice they teach in such a way that we understand all the lectures. We have to just revise the lesson after coming from institute. There are very good professors with great experience. They are also dedicated towards making each student very successful in future.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have a placement cell at our institute. It provides all the facilities to students to understand the rules and regulations of industry to get jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. My hostel name is ‘Kameng’ and it is known for its culture. It has a wonderful infrastructure. Hostel management provides us all the facilities which are required for our studies.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is very wonderful and all the buildings are made with a very nice infrastructure. All the shapes and designs are made with care. Our campus also provides us a playground to play and two libraries. These libraries offer peaceful environment to study.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus is situated at the bank of Brahmaputra river and it provides cool environment. There are around eight thousand students in the institute but the crowd is comparatively less because most of the students are busy with their studies. The campus life is very good. All the Festivals are celebrated here with joy and here a festival ‘Alcheringa’ is celebrated with a lot of pleasure.

    Overall Rating
    IIT Guwahati is one of the top 7 IIT’s in India. It has overall 9th NIRF ranking and 7th ranking in engineering college. It has one of the most beautiful campus across all IIT’s, academic pressure is a little bit high but manageable. Faculties are highly educated. Hostel life is very good here.   • The only Northeastern IIT (Guwahati)
     

    Overall Rating
    IIT Guwahati is one of the top 7 IITs in India, the only IIT in northeast India. I chose the institute based upon my JEE Advanced rank (CRL: 1597) which got me into ECE IITG. ECE being a circuital branch and in a primary IIT is always a priority for most JEE aspirants. The college location is away from metropolitan city life.... Read Full Review

    IIT Guwahati is located at a distance of 20 km from the city of Guwahati. It is known for its most beautiful campus, magnificent greenery and a viewpoint from where you can see the whole campus, and three major lakes. The campus is completely safe as there are no harmful animals and also you can find guards at every point. It is built over the total area of 700 Acres, where all the basic amenities are constructed.     My experience at IITG so far has been very good. I have made many friends and have been enjoying the campus life. Although the academics for my branch are quite tough due to relative grading but they can be managed if you study regularly.     At particular it was not decided to take the college but in the counselling process it came and I locked the college because the campus is very much pretty. The beauty of the campus is lit.
