Overall Rating
Techno International New Town formally named as Techno India College of Engineering and Technology is the best engineering college for me. It provides good campus placement, best academics in West Bengal, ragging free campus, good faculty members, and best quality classrooms and laboratories. For these things I choose this institute for my future career building.
 

Academics Rating
I am a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Lateral student in this college. My department is Computer Science and Technology. It is a 4 year course for full time Regular students a 3 years for full time Lateral students. There are two ways to get admission here 1st is Direct Management Quota Admission and second is via WBJEE or JELET or JEE rank based online counselling. Entry requirements are Higher secondary pass with minimum 60% marks in Science department. I am a Diploma Engineer in Computer Science so that's why for career building I choose this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Techno International New Town are well-experienced and student friendly. They know their job very well. They took classes regularly and timely. Doubt clearing sessions and extra classes are also organised by the college. All of them have Ph.D in equivalent subjects. Their style of teaching is pen and paper mode. They also teach us digitally via PPT. Regularly practical are organised by college and faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has placemen cell. The placement cell is very active and helps student for building their career. It offers campus drive and helps students for preparing for those jobs. It provides placement related classes every day. The placement cell helps the students acquire jobs in the industry very well. Many companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, IBM, Amazon, Flipkart, Pinnacle, Infotech, etc. offer students jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
No, the college has no hostel facilities, but Paying Guest facility is available near college. The condition of the paying guest is very well maintained and good quality food is offered by them.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has a well maintained 5 floor building. Mainly there is one block and other blocks are under construction. In every floor there are different departments. Every floor has its own classrooms, laboratories, toilets, Xerox area, etc.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is best I have ever seen. The campus is fully crowded but well maintained. Campus has many clubs like Tint Coding Club, GDSC club, ACM student chapter club, etc. College conducts yearly fest. In every month 2-3 time many social activities and also many department related programs are conducted by college. Overall I'm happy with my college.

    Techno International Newtown is a subgroup of Techno branch of colleges affiliated with MAKAUT. Situated in Newtown, Smart City, this college holds a great record for providing students a good salary and LPA Packages. Overall, placement is good, some teachers and professors are also good enough. Although campus is a bit small, but if you want a good engineering degree, this college is the one you can give a try.... Read Full Review
