College of Nursing, AIIMS Rishikesh

Overall Rating
As the name says, it is a prestigious medical college in the India. It has a separate building of Nursing that is called CENER (Centre of Excellence in Nursing Education and Research). I gave the AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam in 2022 and got an AIR of 1040 to get admission here. As I heard a lot about the campus and academics here, and these are almost all true. Campus and hostel life are also pretty good and professional.
 

Academics Rating
You can enroll here by giving its entrance which held once a year and consists of question related to Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of secondary education along with General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Course is 4 year long program with different subjects each year along with clinical postings in hospital, various practical and educational visits throughout the year. I took admission here because nursing has a vast scope and good financial stability ahead.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are very experienced and genuine. They teach everything in detail and never skip a class. They are also very approachable. They teach in hospitals bedside everything very smoothly. They all come from different states and backgrounds but together teach us so well. They teach through visits, hospital postings, videos, presentations, and various methods.
 

Placement Rating
AIIMS offers 6 months of paid internship in final year. They pay you 14.5k for 6 months in the end. About the placement, being a AIIMS graduate you can easily get a job at private setup but for a government setup or going abroad, you need to clear entrances like NORCET and NCLEX.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is amongst one of the best hostel here, with the view of divine Ganga and lavish green hills and clouds. They have fully furnished large rooms from 1st year with 2 people sharing it together and single room from final year. They have their personal mess, badminton court, lift, and proper security.
 

Infrastructure Rating
They have a three huge blocks with A, B, and C block and a separate college of nursing building and auditorium. Beside that they also have millet café, AYUSH department, Nescafe, library, common mess, various sports complex, and gym. They have every type of possible facilities available in the campus. They have library with good academics as well as non academics book. They have lifts and ramps for students and patients also.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is pretty happening, there is decent crowd and a lot of space in campus to enjoy. They have various clubs for dance and sports. They also have various cultural events according to festivals approaching and two main annual fests called Invicta and Pyrexia. They also provide various CME events and seminar to attend and learn. The crowd is pretty decent and not so loud. Overall, it's an enjoyable place to live.

    The most fascinating thing about AIIMS Rishikesh is its campus and the experienced faculty. I prefer to choose AIIMS Rishikesh over other AIIMS because it has good infrastructure, library, best faculty, fests, and extracurricular activities among all.
