The college provides the much needed learning environment. It has a total of 8 engineering branches with highly qualified professors to guide you throughout the 4 years of your journey. There are several clubs which helps us develop our technical skills. Furthermore, every year our institute conducts several games and tournaments and also a 4 days grand fest in the month of February. Our college also has good placement ratio with well known PSUs visiting and hiring students every year. Overall it’s a wonderful experience to be in this college.

Assam Engineering College is under ASTU. To get into this college you need to clear Assam CEE entrance exam. The course I got enrolled in is B.Tech Electrical Engineering. Eligibility criterion is 10+2 passed along with a good score in CEE. You will get a 4 year bachelor degree with lots of technical skills and a decent job.

The faculty members are highly educated professionals with flourishing educational background and exceptional hold in their subjects. They set our midterm papers and perform continuous evaluation of our knowledge in each subject. They are very skillful professionals. They also conduct surprise tests and lab experiment. They take proper care of each student and makes sure no one is lagging behind in any topic.

Yes we do have a placement cell in our college and it is very active throughout the year. It really helps students get well deserved job. It is also successful in inviting well known companies in our college.

Yes, the institute has hostel facilities for the students.

The institute has a well maintained infrastructure. It has a main academic building. Overall 3 academic buildings are there along with an auditorium, canteen, stationary shops, etc. It has a small gymnasium and a park to chill out. Dipor Bil is also nearby our campus. Overall it has a green and peaceful campus.

It provides a good campus life, friendly environment, supportive seniors, several technical-cultural clubs, a grand fest, and tournaments every year. We get to enjoy our yearly college fest in an amazing manner. We have really supportive seniors. I got to make some really good friends. It is an open campus but I must admit it’s a huge area.
