My review for Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University

Overall Rating
The University is located in an area close to the nature in Dehradun. The atmosphere and environment is really good, it is far from the city noise. My overall experience was really good. There are shops for stationary goods and daily needs for hostel students. They also have a canteen and some fast food outlets as well. A café for morning coffee is also present in the campus.
 

Academics Rating
The reason I chose the Hospitality course is because I love guest service and handling guest request. There are no entrance exams for the course but your post Matric result should be above 60%. And you can also get this college in the counseling of NCHMCT. The course is really good as they perform really good practical's.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is really kind and good as they will help you with your queries and doubt throughout the course. Their teaching style is also very good. You can ask them about the topic 10 times and they will answer you for the 10th time as well. Some of them have done Ph.D and masters as they are highly educated and experienced in their field.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell at our university. It really helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry. Companies like Taj, The Leela, The Oberoi, ITC Hotels, etc. comes to our university for the campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have residential facilities in our university. Hostel life is good as we get 3 time meals, invertor’s facility, and hot water for winters. There are in total 5 buildings 3 for boys and 2 for girls and they're all separate and safe. There are 2 wardens or care taker available in each of them.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our university has 9 blocks for different courses. They all have their own libraries filled with various informational books you need. All buildings are functional and they have different labs for practical's. Other amenities are canteen, stationary shop, café, etc. even our building also has a lift.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is really fun. We have 2 basketball ground, 2 badminton ground, and 1 huge ground for football and cricket. Sports meet is organised every year in which any student can participate. 2 fests happen every year 1st is PINAK which is a 4 days fest and then we have freshers for new students.

    Dev bhoomi was started in 2005 with few students and now has approx 8,000 students. Earlier I was preparing for NEET but I couldn’t make it so I have to choose something related to biology.     The university infrastructure is good. It is far from the city which is good for the people like me who love peace and stay away from the city.     My overall experience about this college is very outstanding. Also, here faculty and professor is well experienced, they also provide technical knowledge about our core subjects.
