IIT Indore – An amazing institute for research

Overall Rating
IIT Indore has a beautiful campus and phenomenal infrastructure. It is of 500+acres with all greenery here and 200 acres of forest. We have 5 hostels which are not less than 5 star hotels. The institute has amazing and helpful faculties and they all are supportive. Seniors are pretty friendly here.
 

Academics Rating
The students can acquire various good research opportunities here. Many machines and labs are available in the institute. The courses that are offered here include B.Tech, M.Tech, MSC, and Ph.D in all streams like Computer Science, Astronomy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. You have to clear JEE Advance for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech. I have chosen B.Tech in Space Science and Engineering as my interest.
 

Faculty Rating
My faculties are just amazing. They all have done research in amazing fields like Cosmology, Radio Wave Sensing, etc. and have published many research papers also. Some of them are from IIT itself and some of them have taught even in Stanford University. Their teaching style is just easy going, you have to listen to them carefully and you have to do nothing else for exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have a well developed placement cells. The placement packages in 2023 were like, highest package - 68 LPA and average was 27 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have a beautiful campus and best hostels. We have 10 by 10 sq feet rooms which have 2 beds (shared). Our unit includes a balcony and a small kitchen. On each floor there is a filter for water. Each unit has its separate bathrooms. A floor of building consists of 18 units. Everyday hostel workers clean the floors properly. Each hostel has gym, table tennis court, badminton court and foosball court on ground floor. We also have laundry facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is full of greenery and new buildings. All of the buildings have excellent infrastructure. We have separate building for labs, lecture halls, sports complex, swimming pool, dining facility, and for academic also. We have a health center in 2 acres and auditorium in 1.5 acres. We have guest houses and library for students.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs like astronomy, dancing; music, literature, photography, art, robotics, web developer, game developer, and many more .we have nearly 3000 students and 260 faculty members. Our main fest is FLUXES. You can get a good exposure here because the institute arranges many events outside as well.

    IIT Indore is one of the best institutions of India. It is well known for its beautiful and futuristic infrastructure. Apart from infrastructure, academics of the institute are also best. The institute follows the curriculum of IIT Bombay as it is mentored by IIT Bombay. According to my rank, I was getting core branches in 2nd generation IITs, so I decided to choose IIT Indore because of its campus life and placements.     It's although my first visit but it’s actually beyond my expectations. I couldn't believe such a college and a vibrant life. Here the most wonderful site is its infrastructure and academics. It also has such a campus that out of daily hustle you can breathe your soul in the lap of nature. Its beauty, the professors, staff members, and security members all are very helpful.     I am passionate about learning and innovation. Institute has different facilities like Library, modern classroom with AC and well-equipped laboratories. IIT Indore has a big auditorium as well.     Overall, considering academics, faculty, infrastructure, accommodation, social life, and placements, IIT Indore is one of the best choices. As for now I completed my B.Tech 1st year in IIT Indore, and I am very happy about the infrastructure and lectures. Choosing between other branches of IIT than CSE in IIT Indore is not that useful.
