All About Miranda House College

Overall Rating
College life at Miranda House College is not less than a dream. This college is ranked 1st by NIRF. It is the dream college of many students. My overall experience in this college is good. I am really enjoying my college life in this girl's college. The campus is so adorable and aesthetic. You’ll definitely love being in Miranda House College.
 

Academics Rating
The specific requirement for BA (Hons.) Political Science is to appear for CUET and give at least three domain subject tests and one language test in CUET. Then fill the preference sheet and wait for your seat allocation. After the seat allocation, you have the option to choose a college given to you or upgrade.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are so experienced and kind. They guide and motivate the students in the best way possible. They have expertise in their subjects and teach with full dedication unlike some professors in other colleges. The faculty provides us with notes and other study materials to prepare for our exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell in our college. Though the placement rate is not really good. The average package is somewhere between 8-12 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel life at Miranda House College is a great experience. You will feel just like home there. The hostel area is really big and attractive. The security is really good. No unnecessary rules are there in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are two blocks, the old block and the new block (Science block). The Science block has AC facilities in every room. There are very few rooms in the old block with ACs. There is a student activity centre, three canteens, a library, basketball court, tennis court, lawns and a heritage hall. The campus is so beautiful and eye-catchy.
 

Campus Rating
Every year there are around 100-120 students in every department. The college has an annual fest called 'Tempest'. There are many societies and clubs where students can join to enhance their leadership and teamwork qualities. I enjoy being here.

    Now, I am in Miranda House College from past 1 year. The loveliest thing about it is the green lawns shinning with lights of the lamps in the evening.     Miranda House is a women's college and has a very tight security for making it safe for its students. The college has a very highly educated faculty. All teachers are Ph.D from renowned institutes like IIT's and DU. College has maintained a rank 1st from last 7 years though this year it was ranked 2nd.     Overall talking about the college, no doubt it’s the best. The campus is so beautiful, the faculty is outstanding and campus is neat and clean.     Miranda House College is one of the top institutions of Delhi University. Its infrastructure is just amazing. I am pursuing B.Sc (Hons.) Physics from this college and it's great.
