My Opinion about Fergusson College

Overall Rating
Fergusson College is one of the oldest autonomous colleges which come under DES (Deccan Education Society) which was built in 1855. It has ancient buildings & aesthetic vibes. Also overall the college is good and teachers are well qualified and well educated. The college hosts multiple events throughout the year like book fest which was biggest in the world in year 2023 which also got a Guinness World Record for same.
 

Academics Rating
Academically the college has overall reached at heights. If you want to complete your graduation in arts faculty then I'll highly recommend you Fergusson College, because it has a very long history & also would be easy for you to make network with other people. It also facilitates all of the other B.Voc and B.Sc courses.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is nice. All the teachers are well experienced and qualified and are completely friendly with the students. They also adjust many things according to students. The teachers from different departments also conduct various field visits according to their department. For e.g. my Biotechnology field visit was to Goa wine making factories last year.
 

Placement Rating
To be honest you won't be getting high paying jobs just by completing your graduation, but it does make some sense once you complete your PG as well.
 

Hostel Rating
I was a hosteller in FC. Fergusson College’s hostels are too good. Though it seems very old but you won't face any problems there. You’re going to get single room at cheapest price in the hostel. But this is only for boys and girls shouldn't prefer it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is quite good I'd say it's completely old and aesthetic. Especially in monsoon whole campus goes green and the stone construction is just beautiful.
 

Campus Rating
If you want to live an amazing life you should choose FC. No doubt you’re going to get multiple big events and meet big celebrities by entering some private universities but if you get into FC there are so many things like cultural events and meets with great actors, officials, scientists, and startup heads, etc. to attend.

So it became my dream college and by scoring enough in 12th to get admission, I took admission.
