Hindu College: An Extraordinary College

Overall Rating
I'm studying in Hindu College, University of Delhi. I've completed my first year and so far my college experience has been really amazing. Vishwavidyalaya is the nearest metro station to the college. A variety of courses are being provided here. It's the second best college for Commerce, Arts and Science. The faculty is very experienced. They share wonderful insights to the students. The placement opportunities are exceptionally well and the campus life is so good here. Overall, it's the best college.
 

Academics Rating
Currently, I am studying B.Com (Hons.). The academic experience so far is very good. Even the course curriculum is well structured. All courses like SEC and VAC are also available in the college. The enrollment for courses in Hindu College is through CUET. I completed my schooling in the Commerce domain, so I always wanted to pursue B.Com (Hons.) and Hindu College is one of the best colleges for Commerce in DU.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is helpful and some of the professors have an experience of more than 20 years. Most of them have done their Ph.Ds. They emphasize more on practical learning so students can gain practical knowledge. They teach using case studies and online resources like self made PPTs to make the learning experience effective. The knowledgeable and skilled faculty members are always available for the students whenever they need help.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell as well as an internship cell in the college. These cells provide a vast range of opportunities to the students. The increase in recruiters, average salary and stipend in a year leads to the remarkable success rate of the placement cell. Students are placed in top companies like ZS, Accenture, Bain and Company, etc. Every year the highest package is more than 20 LPA. These cells are really helpful for getting a placement or internship.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is available here. The girl’s hostel is maintained properly. All services are available in the hostel such as ventilated rooms and proper cleaning is done in the campus. The boy’s hostel is under construction right now. But PGs and flats are also near the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college campus is so big. It has 2 canteens and a big ground with a basketball court in it. The sports campus is good. The academic blocks are clean and well ventilated. There are different labs and science laboratories as well. A library, seminar halls, a big auditorium and amphitheatre are there in the college. The main thing is that proper Wi-Fi connection provided in each department. The surrounding environment is so pleasant.
 

Campus Rating
Hindu College has a diverse crowd. You'll find people from all over India into different courses that interact with each other, this is the best point. There are various college societies and clubs which help in the skill development of students. The annual fest, ‘Mecca’ is always a blast to attend.

    This year I started studying at Hindu College as a B.Sc Statistics student and my experience till now has been definitely satisfying. The second I heard I got in this college, I was ecstatic.
