Honest Review on Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology

Overall Rating
It has a positive environment. The faculties and other staff members of this university are very supportive. Even the seniors are very supportive, they will always guide you. This university is very good but there is a major issue of attendance.
 

Academics Rating
12th pass with 60% is the minimum eligibility for this course. A candidate’s score in JEE Mains is considered for admission. There are reservations for home state students. This course will give you a lot of opportunities to work in many industries in India as well as other countries. It will provide a large amount of jobs in the tech and non-tech field.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 24 students in my class, having 6 faculties. This is quite good. The faculties are highly educated and very supportive. They are well qualified for this role and teach in a modern way with the help of smart boards. You can easily approach the faculties.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in DCRUST. But it is not so good because it does not provide enough placements. A majority of students try off-campus placements to get a job. Very less number of companies come to this university.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel buildings are good. There are 4 boy’s hostels and 3 girl’s hostels. The rooms have a balcony and a common washroom. There is a common room where you can play table tennis, carrom or watch TV. They will provide you one bed, table, chair and almirah. The washrooms are very clean as hygiene is maintained. But the mess food is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This university’s infrastructure is very good. It covers an area of 273 acres. There is a large library where you can easily get any book. It has a reading room facilitated with Wi-Fi and AC, so you can study anytime. There is also a very big auditorium in DCRUST. Different academic blocks are there for different courses. Smart boards are available in the classes. The campus buildings are very big.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs present in the university like Jazza, Rebels, etc. But they are not really active. A lot of annual functions are organised in DCRUST. The annual fest, ‘Rythem’ occurs in the month of November. At this university New Year is celebrated with high energy and vibes.

    I have taken admission in this college by HSETES counseling last year. This college suits my personality as it provides me ample of time to discover the new discoveries. There is no strict attendance criteria for my branch and additionally there are various public holidays and weekends. This makes this college a place for the student who wants to take preparation of different government examinations.     Overall Rating
    The reason why I chose this particular university is because its fees structure is quite affordable, also it is a government university. It has good faculty and good facilities like huge lavish library, sports facilities, labs, etc. It provides hostel facility and food at an affordable cost.     The college is not good but the cons and pros differ from individual to individual. If you talk about it in a slightly balanced way as it is under the Govt. of Haryana and funded by Govt.
