I choose this university because it is a well-known central university. Its degree has more importance than other private colleges. Overall the campus is very large, offering different courses in different departments. I have heard many things about this university from seniors that people from other states also come here to study because of its reputed name.

Talking about the BBA course offered in this university, it does not have a difficult selection criterion. The eligibility for this course is a candidate should pass 12th class and he/she must have chosen the business studies general test as well as English language as their CUET subjects. One must clear the cutoff to take admission. Last year’s cutoff was around 290 marks aggregate. The good thing about this course is there are only 60 seats offered, so there is high competition among students. Only the intelligent ones will be selected. The teachers completely focus on the students.

All professors are highly qualified and well experienced. But very few professors cover their whole syllabus before the exam, so students have to study the remaining syllabus by own. Some professors are very strict, while the young scholars who teach when the professors aren’t available are very friendly with students.

There is no placement cell or placements for the BBA course. But there are internship opportunities for a month during the third and final year. You can't expect placements after perusing BBA from this university. You should do MBA or get some other degree for securing a placement.

The campus of Dr. Hari Singh Gour University is very large as the department of Management is 1.5 km away from the department of Commerce. So you can just imagine how big the campus is. This university is all surrounded by greenery. There is a forest near the university. The department of Business Management has two buildings. The new building consists of ACs and projectors in the clean classrooms. There is also a lift in the building, while the old building doesn't have these facilities.

When we talk about the campus life, there are some fests held in the month of November. These fests are traditionally conducted at the university level in the honor of Dr. Hari Singh Gour . Apart from this, there are no events in the university. Farewell and fresher’s party happens each year at departmental level. There are different clubs that are run by the students. They organise some engaging activities that we enjoy.
