NMIMS is an esteemed institution which led me to choose this college. The Mumbai campus is supposed to be one of the best law schools in the country but honestly the infrastructure is very average. We have recently been moved to the old Mukesh Patel building and everything is still under construction. Apart from this the teachers are well qualified and well educated and they communicate the syllabus thoroughly and accurately. The course outlines are formulated meticulously to provide us as much knowledge as possible. The exam situation is still a little hectic but it can be managed.

I’m doing the BBA.LL.B course. The first 3 years contain BBA subjects along with law subjects. The last two years are based solely for the law subjects. The curriculum is vast and advanced, providing a good overall view of the subjects. The starting years cover the basics, IPC, CPC, CRPC and the last two years cover the advanced topics like land laws and international laws.

The faculty is very well versed with their subject and extremely thorough with everything that they are teaching. They are well qualified, having multiple degrees and in case they do not know something then they research on it and follow up with the student to ensure that their doubt is clear. They prepare study material for the students as well.

Yes, there is a placement cell and numerous opportunities have come up for students from well known law firms.

We have recently been moved to the old Mukesh Patel building. Some parts of it are still under construction but the classrooms are very nice. Each classroom is roomy and spacious along with smart boards in each one. The wooden desks are clean and can seat 3 people comfortably.

The institution has a lot of clubs and committees which organize fests. These fests are inclusive and help participation of the students in the extracurricular activities. There are cultural committees, sports committees, law review committee, and more. Basically, a whole brochure of choices were available for the students to participate in. I had an amazing time at the institute.
