Integrated Institute of Technology: A Great Experience

Overall Rating
The overall experience was satisfactory. I was in the batch 2019-22, so it was during the pandemic. Now the university is renamed as Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, Dwarka Main Campus. The course I took has been discontinued and now Computer Science is offered with a changed system. Things have improved here and the Diploma will definitely help in your future, especially for government exams. Peer pressure should be positive. Focusing on studies rather than expecting better outcomes without effort is crucial.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility of this Diploma course is a candidate must complete their 10th and 12th standard. Even those who have completed their 12th can get admission in the second year of the Diploma course. CET exam is conducted for enrollment in Diploma. Now if we talk about academics, it is very easy as it offers the basic knowledge about every subject. We had internal assessments worth 20-25 marks and external exams worth 100 marks.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at IIT Dwarka is educated and UGC qualified as well as the guest teachers are those teaching in DTU, NSUT and IIITs. The faculty is lenient about attendance and studies, focusing more on industrial knowledge. There are no major issues in their teachings, they teach very well. The guest teachers were also good, except for a few. A few teachers were kind and wanted their students to have good placements.
 

Placement Rating
A Placement Cell is not here but the professors help students to get placements. Placements were not favorable during my time. Only 2-3 companies such as Wipro and DXC had visited through job fairs offering a CTC of just 2.5 LPA. Thus, we didn’t get placements. Only 1-2 students secured jobs at DXC. Many students took up jobs through off-campus placements due to financial constraints or for growth.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is truly impressive. Well-maintained buildings and the greenery enhances the campus beauty. Initially, there was no canteen but now students can enjoy delicious food and tea at reasonable prices. Our classrooms are equipped with projectors. Both the labs and classrooms are air-conditioned. The campus is clean and well-kept. It features a library but lacks Wi-Fi facility.
 

Campus Rating
There were no societies during my time but the sports event was organized with enthusiasm. There was not much of a crowd as limited branches were available. Different competitions were also organized. We had different small events during the festival time, which we used to enjoy. During the pandemic they were able to conduct webinars related to our interests.
