Sardar Patel Institute of Technology- Mumbai’s Best Institute

Overall Rating
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai has one of the best campuses with a lot of amenities. They have the best placements in Mumbai for Engineering students. There are many labs for students to use and develop their skills. They also have one of the biggest libraries where a lot of books can be accessed easily.
 

Academics Rating
This institute provides B.Tech in three branches- Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering as well as Electronics and Telecommunications. You can enroll in this institute by 2 ways, giving JEE Mains or MHT CET. You should score very good marks for getting admission in this institute. The cutoff is 97 percentile.
 

Faculty Rating
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology has lots of good faculties. They are expected to have valuable degrees and a good experience. I personally enjoy sitting in their lectures and learn. Even the admission staff is polite and respectful. Every faculty member is nice and helpful.
 

Placement Rating
This institute provides the best placement reports in Mumbai. They assure 100% placements to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Unfortunately, there are no hostels here. Although a mess is available in the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This institute has a good infrastructure. All the classrooms are air conditioned with good sitting arrangements. The classrooms also have good quality projectors. This institute has lifts, libraries, canteens and lots of laboratories. There is a sports ground, basketball court, gymkhana, football field, volleyball court and many other sports infrastructures.
 

Campus Rating
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology has the best campus life. There are many clubs in this institute like ECEEL, IETE, IEEE, AIEE and many more. The main fest organised here is ‘Oculus’. It is a tech-cultural fest which is held for 3-4 days in April. This institute has a good crowd from all over Maharashtra.

    The location of the institute is good as it is in Andheri, so it is easy to travel to different places. This institute is known for its placements, which are above average.   • SPIT Mumbai placements are at par with IITs and NITs

    Overall I would rate this college 9/10. The Education system is comfortable and good. Supporting staff and teaching faculty are good as well. The college has a wide campus size of 50 acres with a lake known as Bhawan Lake and a botanical garden. As the institute is in Mumbai you get various opportunities for internship and placements and obviously city factor plays a major role in placements.     I joined this institute because it had the branch I wanted. It has a great placement record and has highly qualified faculties. The infrastructure is great with sports grounds present to play various sports. Overall, my experience in this institute has been great.
