One of the best colleges to pursue engineering in Pune

Overall Rating
So basically, the college is known for its placement record. Recently, our college got about 1000 students placed in different companies with the highest packages of 63 LPA. The college is best for students who might have not been able to crack IIT or NITs but wanted to be placed in the best companies with their sincere efforts.
 

Academics Rating
I am student of Civil Engineering which is right now the "Not So" relevant branch for many students in this AI led job market. But still our college makes sure that we are taught all the industry required skills and they try to organize programs and seminars apart from academics which help students to regularly keep up with requirements of the recruiters.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are great in terms of teaching and assistance in other co-curricular activities. Many of our faculties are Ph.D holders or are pursuing them. While teaching their subjects they also explain us about the future scope of our industry and the skills we will require to sustain in it. It's all upon the students to explore their potential.
 

Placement Rating
Right now, I am in my third year of Civil Engineering, and it is the least favored branch in terms of placements in IT industries. But I've heard from our seniors that the department and placement cell of our college still tries to bring placements for students of our branch who are interested in getting jobs. This year, the highest package in Civil Engineering was about 6 LPA in the core companies which is still great compared to the other branch’s average packages.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facilities for students’ right from first year of college to the last year. The hostel facilities are great and the hostel is right in the campus which is just away by a walking distance. The hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The interesting thing is that the hostel facilities in next years of college will be provided upon CGPA basis. So students with less CGPA and backlogs will not be allowed in the hostel and the cutoff goes on increasing until 4th year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is good. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and computers for teaching purpose. College has 2 lawns for sports activities and a newly built badminton court. Also it has about 3 seminar halls for conducting seminars and other events.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is great as from the first year itself students are indulged in various activities and events which help them to meet new people and collaborate with others. For example, I am a Civil Engineering student, still I made whole bunch of friends from other branches in the first year. We also have many cultural and other events like Bollywood Days, annual event called Sthapatya, and more. Every branch has their own student’s organisation that organises events in the even semester, so it is full of events and life.

  • PCCoE has some pros and cons
     

    Overall Rating
    The overall view of my college was good. Coming from an academics point of view it is excellent. I feel as if I am going to school and not college. Here the professors are strict. All the assignments have to be completed on time. I got admission after giving the GATE exam. It is one of the good engineering colleges in Pune not only for B.E but also for master engineering. But, B.E students have much scope as compared to M.E students. More companies come for the B.E students and they recruit this... Read Full Review

  • PCCOE is for those who can bear discipline
     

    Overall Rating
    For me personally PCCOE was one of the best engineering colleges in Pune that I have seen. There are many other engineering colleges in Pune like COEP, MIT WPU Faculty of Engineering, and Symbiosis Institute of Technology among other. There are pros and pros but few cons like the college is like a school where the discipline of certain level has to be maintained.   • Best college for placements in Pune University!

    Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune or simply PCCoE has been consistently ranked among the top five engineering colleges in Pune and 45th in India. It is ranked 30th in the private colleges of engineering in the Times Engineering Survey. To get a seat in this college one needs to take PCM in their 12th Std and qualify the JEE Mains entrance exam.     Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is well-known as PCCoE which is located in Pune. It’s a famous college having all the facilities one looks in an Engineering college. No wonder I chose this college for my Masters. The admission process here is quite swift and tension-free.
