Sharda University – A right place for quality education

Overall Rating
Being a dentist is a very respectful profession that’s why I have chosen this course. The admission to this course is based on the merit of NEET UG and admission is conducted by UPDGME. The institute harbors all modern lab technologies and has advanced labs for students to learn clinically and face the real world challenges. The campus is clean and has good infrastructure, with all modern technological advancements. Campus has good security as well.
 

Academics Rating
The course curriculum is set by DCI. The admission is through NEET UG and counseling by UP Government only. The fee remains constant throughout your college years and doesn't change. The qualifying marks are very less for private dental seats so one can easily get admission here.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is qualified and holds masters degree. There is adequate student to faculty ratio as there’s approximately 1 faculty for every 10 students. The teaching method is generally slide based but most of the faculties have an interactive teaching style. Faculties are approachable and helpful. They also help students in their research work and motivate them to face outer world.
 

Placement Rating
The university has a placement cell but since it’s a doctor’s degree one has to find placement by self. No help is provided in that. But since this is a self employed profession too, one can learn and start self practice or go for higher studies.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is inside the campus but the price is relatively high compared to off campus PGs and hostels. The security at hostel is good. The mess provides 4 times meal but the food is average. Wi-Fi facilities are also available for the students in the hostel as well in the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university has good infrastructure. There are clean roads, parking facility and good ambience. The campus is equipped with all latest technologies. Bus services are provided for students travelling from far places. Commuting to campus is easy as it is situated in Greater Noida which is closer to Delhi. The lecture halls and labs are equipped with AC.
 

Campus Rating
The campus has students from around the globe so the exposure is nice for students as they can interact and learn about global cultures. There is a mega university cultural fest named Chorus which is amalgamation of sports, dance, literary and many more. There are different clubs like environment club, dance club, fashion club, and more for the students.

    My experience in Sharda University was awesome as I learned a lot of things academic as well as non academic wise.
