ICFAI Law School- Overall Review

Overall Rating
ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad is one of the most renowned private law colleges in Hyderabad. As a student studying at this college, I can appreciate the opportunities this college has offered both academically and in extracurricular activities. The college provides an opportunity to take part in several inter-college competitions for MOOTs, debates, sports, etc.
 

Academics Rating
The college offers two 5 year law courses, BBA.LL.B (Hons.) and BA.LL.B (Hons.). The curriculums for both courses are accessible on their website. The college also has included clinical courses that help inculcate practical knowledge and additionally have a mandatory 6-week internship period every year which helps students in building networks and applying their theoretical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties either have their doctorates or are pursuing Ph.D in various aspects of law. The professors use a variety of strategies to help students gain a thorough understanding of both the theoretical and practical applications of law. The faculty coupled with the other facilities provides a decent study environment.
 

Placement Rating
The college does have a placement cell run by qualified faculties. The highest recorded package out of placements was 12 LPA. Several law firms and corporate offices participate in the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides hostels. The rooms are pretty small and do not offer a very comfortable living situation. The college also has a mess which provides food at very affordable rates. However, the taste of the food is not particularly praised.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has one of the best infrastructures amongst private law colleges in Hyderabad. The classrooms are huge, with electronic screens in each classroom; the library has a very good collection of legal books and journals. Additionally, we have a computer lab, moot court hall, conference room, etc. which also makes student life more exciting.
 

Campus Rating
The campus has a lot of open space and room for recreational activities. The students can become part of various clubs and societies based on their interests and display their work in programs and newsletters. Overall students have a great balance of education and recreation here.
