A Detail Review of The Assam Kaziranga University

Overall Rating
The Assam Kaziranga University, also known as KU is one of the largest and leading private universities in North- East India. I am currently enrolled in B.Tech CSE at KU. This University also provides up to 100% merit based scholarship which made me choose this particular institute. Students looking for academic excellence and holistic growth should go for this University.
 

Academics Rating
KU provides various undergraduates programs like B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc. OTT, B.Sc. MLT, B.Pharm, B.Sc Chem. and Postgraduates program like M.Tech, MCA, MBA, and M.Sc. MLT respectively. For pursuing B.Tech, students have to passed 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biology as one of the subjects and have to obtain at least 60% marks.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of The Assam Kaziranga University is highly qualified. We have professors from IITs and IIMs. Faculties of this branch are friendly and are always there for the students. The professors mostly teach with projectors and in a creative way which help the students to understand in a better way.
 

Placement Rating
The placements in KU are quite good for B.Tech and MBA students. KU gives the students a platform for placements where companies are invited to recruit students of various branches and specialisation. The highest package offered for B.Tech is 12 LPA till date and average package is 3-4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
KU has a total of 6 hostels 3 for boys and 3 for girls. The Hostels at KU have rooms for 2 Seaters, 3 Seaters and 4 Seaters. It has AC facilities in 2 Seaters. It has Wifi facilities, Gym, and well- furnished rooms. Students are served four times a day including Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner with variety of food offered. The Hostels also have medical emergency rooms, saloon, grocery store and laundry.
 

Infrastructure Rating
KU has a beautiful and large campus. The Infrastructure of KU is quite impressive. It has football ground, basketball court, tennis court, and cricket field along with net practice. It has a Library with all kinds of books, newspaper, articles and magazine. It has highly advanced computer lab that is collaborated with IBM. We have a huge auditorium where various functions, seminars and workshops are conducted.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus Life of KU is mesmerizing. KU campus has 50 acres of land. KU hosts Talent Tantra one of the largest and most happening university festivals of India. There are many clubs in KU which organise events like sports, cultural, debates, essay, etc. KU also has NCC and NSS which helps the students in individual growth of the students.

    It cost over 30000 Rs per semester on the Operation Theatre Technology course and it is the most valued University all over Assam. The prices on the other University are too much expensive but for this University we got a normal range of amount to admit in the University. It is NAAC B++ graded with UGC approved....
