Himachal Pradesh National Law University campus life is great

Hello everyone, I am Arun Kumar a recent graduate from HPNLU, Shimla. The university built in between several mountains looks pretty good and student can build a great career by pursuing their graduation from here. I have experienced a lot of things here and nourished my skills and knowledge. The campus of the college is too good and hostel facilities are top notch. The faculty out there is also well educated and very friendly. Here, you'll get the exposure which every law student requires in the starting. In the university, many activities and fests are also organised. Mooting, research paper work and many other skills are taught in HPNLU which will help the future career of law aspirant. I'll not lie on the point that ragging is prevalent in not only HPNLU but all other universities too, but here many steps have been taken to prevent it as much as possible. Placements may not be very good here but your hard work and dedication could make you get placed. Since it is a National Law University, it's not easy to get into it and if it's not easy to get into it that means it carries some value due to which it is being preferred. At last I would only say that HPNLU, Shimla is a place of paradise and education quality over here is also too good. Faculty is supportive and there is a great scope of opportunities in the future. If you're getting this, just take it and you'll never regret on your decision.

For getting into BA.LL.B or BBA.LL.B program of HPNLU, Shimla, you'll have to give CLAT exam. Entries requirements include that you should be 12th pass out from recognised board and should have given CLAT. Anyone can get into this University without any age restriction. BA or BBA.LL.B is the degrees of UG program under law.

Faculty out there is very supportive and helpful. They often helped me too in my assignments and projects and also helped me maintain good grades throughout my study. They are highly educated with some having LL.M degrees and other degrees which are required. Their teaching style is very good as they use the real life examples to explain any law or case study. They teach in an informal manner making a student - professor relationship more interconnected.

Placements are not so good there but hard work and dedication could make anything possible. As it is not so old, it lacks large amount of companies visiting the campus but this doesn't mean that there are no on-campus placements.

Hostel is also good to the extent that it is maintained every day. They are very clean and the hygiene out there needs appreciation. But it is not built inside the campus. You'll have to travel some distance to get there for which bus service by the college is available too.

Infrastructure of the HPNLU includes well maintained classrooms with high technology. College also has an auditorium for cultural events and full campus is Wi-Fi connected. Library is also present here and parking facilities are also available for students. Moot court for conducting moots, computer lab for research work and sports complex for sports enthusiasts are also present in the HPNLU. Conference hall and health center is also there in the college.

Campus Life is great out there as the crowd which comes here includes top students who eagerly want to study law. There are different types of clubs and committees in the college which students can join and perform in the activities and gain exposure. Sports facilities are also good here making campus life more interesting and enjoyable.
