The infrastructure and facilities are one of the main factors that made me choose this university. I had to face no interviews or written tests before admission. Although, there is an interview for document verification. Students have to submit their documents and get it verified for the further admission process. If you are looking for a seamless and comfortable university, you can choose SBU like I did.

I always had an interest in how the economy and finance of our country worked so I chose this course. Exams are taken regularly in the format of a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam. The exams are fairly difficult for the students who might not be inclined to pay attention in class. I have no complaints about the fees except the bus facility as it is a bit expensive for me.

The faculties are approachable and more than qualified to teach their respective subjects. Your doubts can be cleared during breaks and after classes. Just inform your faculty and they will be happy to take on your academic issues. But you have to inform them beforehand about your problems, otherwise there maybe a clash of time.

Internships are provided by the Training and Placement department. They send out notifications of internship opportunities to all the students through the Class Representatives and Placement Representatives. Later, the students can choose and apply for different internships based on their preferences. You should not have a backlog in more than one subject to be eligible for internships and placements. As per my knowledge the highest package is 5 LPA and the average package is 3-3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS and ICICI Lombard have visited for recruitment. More than 90% of students who opted for the placement drive have been placed.

Yes, SBU provides hostel facilities. But the fee is quite high. Therefore, I recommend getting a room for rent if you want some freedom as well.

The infrastructure is exceptional, having modern facilities throughout the university. There are separate blocks for different streams and different floors for different courses. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards. There are two canteens so students have an easy access for food during the short breaks. There is a library with all the books and journals a student can need throughout his/her degree.

The sports fest and the annual fest are the main events that students look forward to.
