My overall experience in this college was mixed as it was full of ups and downs from the first to the last day. But I loved my time here. I was always greeted by everyone and it was easy to learn whatever was being taught in class. It was easy to make new friends too. Students can roam around the campus as it is very nice and well maintained. The canteens are great. We had had 3 different canteens to go to.

I had taken B.Com and the requirements are that we need the passing certificate of 12th standard. The eligibility is 40 percent and it’s really easy to get selected in this college as they select both high and low scoring students. I enrolled in St. Xavier’s College as my mother and other family members had also studied in this college.

There were 5 teachers teaching me in B.Com during my first year. Miss. Yasmine was the head of the department and she was our class mentor. She used to teach Marketing. Her style of teaching in the classroom was really understandable and easy to grasp. The faculties focus on all the students in the class.

Yes, we have a placement cell in St. Xavier’s College. It really helps the students to get better. It gives us the experience that we need to be better in the field of what we are studying. It is the stepping stone of our future.

No, we don’t have any hostels or residential facilities yet.

There are 3 blocks in the campus; each for Arts, Commerce and Science. All of the blocks are nicely maintained with each having its own beauty. There are other buildings having an auditorium, small hall, canteens, library and a gym which helps us to do other activities and programs.

The campus life is very nice. It’s crowded but there is always a place to sit down and relax in the college lobby. There are many clubs and fests which students can enjoy and engage in. Everything about this college is good. It motivates the students during their entire stay here.
