My review of IIT Delhi

Overall Rating
IIT Delhi is one of the top ranked engineering institutions in all over the world. It is known for its rigorous activity, academic program, and research opportunities. The institute has highly qualified and experience faculties, many of whom are renowned experts in their fields. IIT Delhi has modern facilities, including well equipped labs and libraries.
 

Academics Rating
IIT Delhi provides opportunity to pursue B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PhD, and many other degrees. The fee of first year ranges from 1 lakh to 6 lakh which vary with degrees.
 

Faculty Rating
Many of the faculties hold PhD and higher degrees from reputed institutes worldwide including IIT Delhi itself. Faculty members have research experience from top institution like Harvard University, Purdue University, etc. They have received prestigious awards like INSA young scientist medal and NASI SCOPUS young scientist medal.
 

Placement Rating
Highest package of IIT Delhi is 3-4 Crore per Annum and average package 25-30 LPA. Number of visited companies is 300. It attracts top tier companies like Google, Microsoft, BCG, IBM, Morgan, Larson, Tubro, etc. for placement with an average package of 25-30 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Each room is equipped with table chair, bed wardrobe and is shared by 2-3 students. The allotment of hostels random for all students. The hostels are named after hill ranges in India and offer comfortable accommodation for students. The food quality is decent and varies with season. The hostels have a mess, washing machine, and drinking water supply in each floor.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 330 acres and offers modern facilities including classrooms, library, Wi-Fi, and sports facilities. The central library has good infrastructures, and the library timing is also good. During exam time library is open for 24 hours.
 

Campus Rating
IIT Delhi has also satellite campus in Sonipat and Jhanjhar and an international campus in Abu Dhabi. The campus has modern facilities including library, classrooms, labs, high speed internet, etc. The institute has good sports facility including its own proper basketball stadium.

    It is an amazing place to spend the best time of your life, while studying. You will have best brains around you. Hence, you can have excellent peer group. There is a best faculty and system not just for academics but also for sports. It has well-maintained grounds and courts for various sports, and swimming pool.     Overall, the institute is pretty worth it. The timetable of every student can be very busy but the time invested goes into various activities, results in the holistic development of the student. I chose this institution because of its good network as it is easier to connect to professionals in the field.     It’s been 6 months and till now it has been a great experience. It's totally different from JEE preparation. You get a lot of exposure which helps in your career growth. You also meet new people; some are good and there are possibilities that will make some really good friends.
