IGDTUW is one of the best engineering colleges for women in our country. It is definitely a matter of proud to study at this college. It can be an excellent choice for women seeking a career in technology and management. The campus is well equipped with modern facilities and location provides easy access to industry hubs. However, some students feel a high workload and limited flexibility in choosing electives and college’s infrastructure is still developing. It provides a fantastic environment for student to grow as a successful engineers, researchers, and innovators. I feel lucky to be a part of it. IGDTUW offers undergraduate (B.Tech & BBA), postgraduate (M.Tech, MCA, & MBA), and doctoral programs (Ph.D). It provides a good quality education, industry exposure, and a supportive environment to grow. To get admission to IGDTUW courses, candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria required for each course. Admission to B .Tech program are based on JEE mains rank. No direct admissions are conducted in any course in IGDTUW. It is quite competitive to get admission in this university. It offers courses’ specializations in latest technology including computer science with AI, AI-ML ECE-AI, and many other courses.

There are some really excellent professors in IGDTUW. But, there are some professors who seems a bit disconnected from the industry. Some faculties at IGDTUW are more focused on practical knowledge and they have years of experience and deep knowledge of concepts. Overall, I'd say the faculties are pretty good in IGDTUW. But the most important thing about faculties is that they encourage students for research related opportunities and help students in research work. From designing experiments to analyzing data and presenting findings, students gain skills that will serve them in future.

Placements statistics are outstanding in Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW). Almost 90-95% students get placements from our college. IGDTUW is always on top in terms of placements. Depending on the abilities and knowledge of the student, there is a good probability of being placed. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Uber, Oracle, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Wells Fargo, Cisco, Expedia, Intuit, Accenture, Ericsson, and many more companies visit the campus for placements every year. IGTUW offers great internship opportunities as well. Not only tech branches, students also get placements in core branches like MAE (Mechanical and automation Engineering). Along with placements internship opportunities are also abundant here. Placement cell provide training and support for students at different levels.

There are 2 hostels in campus Krishna and Kaveri. All rooms in IGDTUW hostels are on twin/triple sharing basis and are equipped with individual beds, chairs, built-in cupboard, and study tables. As it is a girl’s college hostel rules are strict but it's for their safety. All students should come to their respective rooms before 8 PM and no night outs are allowed. Hostel rooms are allocated according to distance between home town and college. Students of farthest states get priority first. Rooms are small and very limited. Mess food is good with moderate quality and taste. They offer special food during festivals. IGDTUW hostels provide ample facilities to ensure a comfortable living. The administration is supportive here. Various events are organized throughout the year primarily for the hostel students like hostel freshers, hostel farewell, hostel week, etc.

The college has an average infrastructure. IGDTUW has well ventilated buildings and nearby metro station and bus stop is just behind the college. So, in terms of location IGDTUW is located in the heart of Delhi, with ease to public transport. Our college provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities to students. The university auditorium is used to conduct various functions, events, and society orientations. It has well equipped departmental laboratories for the students of the university. The university has a centralized newly constructed computer facility named as 'computer center'. It includes a library which is known as learning resource center. In library there is a dedicated digital section. There is also a dispensary / medical facilities located in campus.

Campus life is pretty nice in IGDTUW. We have a bunch of highly talented girls around us from whom we can learn a variety of things. Many students group are involved in working on real-world projects and there are many technical societies in IGDTUW that provides a good coding culture and organise college level coding competitions and activities like hackathons and Ideathon. There are lots of things to explore and learn. It provides ample of opportunities to grow and expand knowledge. Within the college we have tech fest INNERVE, Diwali fest JHILMIL, and culture fest TAARANGANA and sports fest SYNERGY. So all in all, it is an amazing experience to be a part of this college, which provides supportive and inclusive environment for students. It is the best academic institute for girls pursuing B.Tech and also its fee is not that much as compared to other colleges. Campus life is overall good in IGDTUW with unlimited opportunities.
